Chapter 1271 Don't Touch Him
"Eason, I'll do anything you want, just don't hurt Sunny. He's just a baby, he doesn't understand anything. Please, let him go."
"I'm not letting him go. Put Sunny on the bed, now, or I'll kill him!"
Eason had lost his patience, his eyes full of warning.
Ava kissed Sunny on the cheek, crying bitterly as she placed him on the bed.
"What do you want?"
"Let's leave this place. There are too many disgusting people outside. I'll take you away to a place where there's no one else, just the two of us."
"Where are you taking me?"
Eason took a bottle of pills from his pocket, opened it, and took out a pill, placing it aside. "Take this."
"What kind of pill is this?" Ava asked.
"Don't worry, it won't kill you. It will just make you lose consciousness for a while, so I can take you away."
"What about Sunny? What are you going to do to him?" Ava asked worriedly.
"Didn't you ask me to let Sunny go? I promise you, Sunny will stay at home, and you will come with me."
"How can that be? Sunny is still a baby. If he's left alone at home, who will take care of him, feed him, and change his diapers?"
"Well, you have a point." Eason thought for a moment and said, "You make a good point. How about I take Sunny with us too? That way, I can use him to threaten you every day."
Eason stepped forward to pick up Sunny.
"Don't touch him!" Ava was very agitated, rushing to the bed and holding Sunny tightly. "Don't touch him, don't hurt my son!"
"So what do you want to do?" Eason asked. "Either you come with me, or both of you come with me. I'm giving you a choice."
Ava didn't know what to do. If Sunny were left alone at home and wasn't found for a long time, what would happen?
But if she took Sunny with her, who knew what this madman Eason would do.
"Ava, have you made up your mind?"
"If I go with you, what will happen to me? What will happen to Sunny?"
"Dear Ava, my patience is running thin. If you're worried about Sunny, take him with us. If you want me to let him go, leave him at home and come with me. I promise not to hurt him."
Ava was in a dilemma.
"Ava, I'll give you ten more seconds to tell me your choice, or I'll kill him."
Eason's gun was still pointed at Sunny.
Ava held Sunny tightly, crying uncontrollably.
"Sunny, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She kissed Sunny on the cheek and whispered in his ear, "Bishop will come back. If you're hungry, cry loudly."
Then she let go of Sunny and said to Eason, "I'll go with you, Sunny stays here."
She couldn't take Sunny with her. Eason, this madman, would use Sunny to threaten her, and he could kill Sunny at any time.
Last night, she had contacted Bishop because she was sure Mandy wouldn't cause trouble for Bishop, so she asked him to come back.
She wasn't sure when Bishop would return, but Bishop said he would come back as soon as possible.
Now Ava could only hold on to this little bit of hope.
If Bishop didn't come back for a few days and Sunny got hungry, he would definitely cry. Sunny's cries were loud, and if he cried continuously without anyone comforting him, it would likely attract complaints from the neighbors, and maybe someone would come.
No matter what, she couldn't let Sunny be with Eason.
This was the only way she could protect Sunny.
If Sunny went with her and Eason, it would be too dangerous.
Eason's gun could be pointed at Sunny at any time.
"Eason, if I go with you, will you really not hurt my child?"
"I only want you. I don't care about the child. I could kill him or leave him. If you behave, I'll just leave him here and not care about him. Now, take the pill and come with me."
Sunny seemed unaware of what was happening, but he sensed something was wrong. He pouted as if he was about to cry but didn't actually cry out.
Ava's trembling hand picked up the pill from the table. "Eason, don't hurt my child. As long as you don't hurt him, I'll do whatever you say. But if you hurt him, I promise you, I'll fight you with my life."
Ava put the pill in her mouth and swallowed it. Immediately, she felt dizzy and fell to the ground.
Her vision blurred, and Sunny's face became increasingly unclear. She raised her hand, "Sunny."
Then, Ava collapsed on the ground.
Eason put away his gun and helped Ava up from the floor.
Eason turned to look at Sunny on the bed. "Sunny, since your mom doesn't want you, you can fend for yourself here."
Sunny stared at Eason with wide eyes, looking confused.
Eason helped the stumbling Ava out of the house.
"Ava, soon it will be just the two of us."
As they passed the door, Ava, with the last bit of consciousness, secretly opened her eyes. Taking advantage of Eason's inattention, she quietly raised her hand and pressed a small white button on the wall. She used all her strength to press it, then collapsed into Eason's arms, completely unconscious.
After everything quieted down, Sunny crawled forward on the bed, then sat up and stared blankly at the door, calling out, "Mommy."
