Chapter 1063 Didn't Recognize Ava Anymore
Ava left William's house with Sunny and found a hotel to stay in. She couldn't stay under the same roof with William anymore.
In the hotel, Ava sat on the sofa holding Sunny, feeling extremely distressed.
"Sunny, from now on, we'll live by each other's support. Men are all liars; they can't be trusted. When you grow up, you must never be like them, who are fickle and deceitful."
"Mom." Sunny suddenly made two sounds from Ava's arms.
Although it was unclear, Ava could understand that Sunny was calling her.
"Sunny, did you just call me mom?"
Sunny smiled, pouted her little mouth, and called again, "Mom."
Ava couldn't hold back her tears. "Sunny, thank you."
It made her feel deeply moved. She had done many regretful things, but the one thing she never regretted was giving birth to Sunny.
"Sunny, don't worry. I will take good care of you from now on."
The next day, Ava went to Scarlett's place. She wanted to visit Scarlett and show her Sunny.
But she heard lively sounds coming from the living room as she approached the door.
Scarlett was laughing, and Madison was sitting next to her. The two were chatting and laughing.
"You always know how to make me laugh."
"Grandma, I just want to make you happy."
Madison was sweet and well-behaved, making Scarlett very happy.
Ava was stunned by this scene. She stood there holding Sunny, dazed for a long time before walking in.
Ava called out, "Grandma."
Hearing the voice, Scarlett turned her head and saw Ava. She was first stunned and then asked, "Who are you?"
The housekeeper stepped up and said, "Mrs. Mitchell, this is Ms. Anderson."
"Which Ms. Anderson?" Scarlett asked, puzzled.
The housekeeper sighed lightly, glanced at Ava, and gave her a look.
Before bringing her in, the housekeeper had told her that Madison and Alexander had also come back from abroad, and that Scarlett's Alzheimer's had worsened.
Even though Ava was prepared, her heart still sank when she saw this scene.
Scarlett didn't recognize her at all.
Madison saw Ava and said with a smile, "Ms. Anderson, you're here. I was just chatting with Grandma."
Ava walked up holding Sunny and said, "Grandma, you really don't recognize me at all, do you?"
Scarlett smiled. "Who are you? You look a bit familiar. Are you a friend of Ava and Alexander? Whose child is this?"
"Grandma," Madison said, "She is William's wife. This is her child with William."
"Who is William?" Scarlett asked.
Madison replied, "William is a wealthy and outstanding young man. Ms. Anderson married very well."
"Oh, I see." Scarlett suddenly understood. "So, Ms. Anderson, why are you here?"
"Grandma, she's my friend," Madison said warmly as she came to Ava's side. "She came to see you."
Madison acted like she was part of the family, not at all like an outsider.
Ava turned to look at Madison, forcing a smile, while Madison also gave her a slight smile, reminding her not to let anything slip.
