"How long do you plan to hide it?" Brandon said, "Your belly is getting bigger. Sooner or later, you won't be able to hide it."
"I'll hide it as long as I can. I plan to tell William once he recovers. He used to know everything, but now he's forgotten. I don't know if he'll ever regain his memory."
"Did you always plan to keep this child?"

"Ava," Brandon interrupted her, "You don't need to worry. I won't blame you for anything. I'm just worried about you handling all this alone. Alexander has already put you through so much, and now William has become a burden."
Hearing Brandon's words, Ava felt incredulous. Even in this situation, he didn't blame her and was still considerate of her. His kindness seemed almost unreasonable, but this had undeniably occurred.
"William is not a burden to me. He used to take care of me, and now it's my turn to take care of him. I want to be with him until he recovers."
Brandon sighed softly. "I actually know that your marriage to William isn't real."
Ava turned her head, looking at him in surprise. "Who told you?"
"Vicky told me, but not because she let it slip. It was because of the chaos when William had his accident. I won't spread this around, so don't blame her."
Ava lowered her eyes in disappointment. "Even though our marriage is fake, my care and companionship for him is genuine."
"I know it's genuine," Brandon said, "You care about William more than anyone else. I can see that you're very devoted to him, enough to marry him to help him."
Ava said, "At that time, there was no other way. Dalton was forcing him to get married. William was in pain, and the woman Dalton arranged for him was a drug addict."
Brandon said, "If it weren't necessary, you wouldn't have taken such a drastic step. But marrying him did solve the problem. Otherwise, William would have been in real trouble. If he had married another woman, she would have signed the donation agreement without hesitation. Fortunately, you married him to help him, and you saved not only his marriage but also his life. Thinking about this, Ava felt sad. If possible, she didn't want William only to remember her.
