Chapter 10

The cruise ship would dock the next morning. Tonight, there would be a wild party that would last all night. Of course, for those guests who didn't want to join the festivities, there were luxurious rooms available for rest.

Harold didn't spend much time with Fiona. As the host, he needed to entertain the guests. Besides, she was tired, so Harold arranged a room for her to rest.

Back in her room, Fiona finally had time to call Ashton and report on her work. Ashton was having a great time with a few friends. They didn't talk for long before hanging up.

Fiona slumped onto the bed, gently placing her hand on her abdomen. "My dear baby, Mommy wasn't able to take care of you these past few days. You have to be good and wait for Mommy to finish her work so she can take care of you properly."

After lying down for a while, Fiona's phone rang. It was Darwin's special ringtone. Years of work instinct made her sit up and answer the call immediately. Then, she said, "Hello."

'Damn instinct!' she cursed herself.

"Come to room 1899." Darwin's voice came through the phone, devoid of any emotion, chilling even through the receiver.

Fiona frowned. "Mr. Darwin, what's the matter?"

"I have a headache." Darwin had a chronic headache problem. It was said to be a lingering effect from a car accident in the past.

"Is Ms. Bella there? Pass the phone to her."

"Come teach her yourself."

Fiona helplessly thought that this was indeed part of the handover process since Bella was there. She was a little hesitant as she might be afraid of what Darwin might do.

'Room 1899…' she pondered.

"Mr. Darwin, is it true that Fiona is really with the young Klein?" Bella asked before she continued, "I heard a lot of people discussing about it tonight. Anyways, she is amazing. She has just separated from you and she has already found another wealthy family. Unlike me, I'm so clumsy, I can't even make you happy."

Darwin loosened his tie and unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt. He stretched out his long legs and half- reclined on the sofa, his face pale like paper. Listening to Bella's words, he felt headache worsened.

"Did I not tell you to not mess with her?" Darwin asked coldly.

Bella was taken aback. "Mr. Darwin, I didn't. Did...did I say the wrong thing just now?"

"Bella, don't try to be clever in front of me." Darwin's voice was cold.

In a blink, from the depth of his pitch-black eyes, he gave Bella a cold warning. "Otherwise, I will replace you soon."

Bella trembled, not daring to argue. "Alright, I understand."

Darwin closed his eyes again. At that moment, the doorbell rang. Bella took the initiative to open the door. When she saw Fiona, her face turned ugly but she didn't dare provoke anything in front of Darwin.

"Fiona, you finally came!"

Fiona ignored her and went straight inside. When she saw Darwin, she instinctively frowned.

"Come here," Darwin spoke.

Fiona walked over. "Mr. Darwin, didn't you bring your medicine?"

"No. Massage my head for me." Darwin's voice sounded weaker than usual, without as much coldness and oppression.

It sounded somewhat pitiful and helpless. Fiona felt helpless as well. She walked to Darwin's side, his face pale and his lips lacking color. Darwin habitually lifted his head. Fiona sat down. He rested his head on her lap in a movement that seemed both natural and affectionate, sparking jealousy in Bella.

"Ms. Bella, Mr. Darwin frequently suffers from headaches. In the future, when you accompany Mr. Darwin outside, be sure to bring his medicine," Fiona spoke as she lightly pressed Darwin's temples with her fingertips.

"If taking the medicine doesn't work, then you need to massage..."

"Enough, be quiet!" Darwin impatiently interrupted.

Fiona patiently responded, "Mr. Darwin, it was you who called me here to teach Ms. Bella."

Darwin slowly opened his eyes. Fiona lowered her gaze, continuing to press gently. But in the next second, Darwin grabbed her wrist, flipped over, and pressed her down on the sofa.

"Are you so eager to pass down the work? Have you found your next employer? Is it that fat mine owner? Or the young Klein? Or perhaps Newton?"

Fiona was stunned for a moment, then struggled. "Darwin! What nonsense are you talking about? Let go of me!"

"That mine owner has a wife. While the young Klein is single, he's much younger than you. In the future, he will also have a wife. How about it? I can't get married so you'll gladly become someone else's mistress, won't you?"

"Darwin!" Fiona shouted angrily.

Darwin closed his mouth, but he didn't release her. He continued to hold her hands, keeping them fixed above her head, and pressed down on her legs with his knees.

"What do you take me for?" Fiona looked at him, tears shining in her beautiful eyes, as she forcibly held them back. "When I sold myself to you, it was to save my grandmother. I am not lowly!"

The notion of being lowly hit Darwin heavily.

"I saw you take mine owner's business card and I saw you with Harold." Darwin's eyes reddened with anger.

Lowering his head, Darwin punished Fiona with a forceful, punishing kiss. Instantly, Fiona felt her lips break. She was going crazy. It disgusted Fiona that Darwin was kissing her.

"It hurts!" Fiona turned her head away, resisting Darwin's punishment for the first time.

Darwin froze for a moment. He immediately grasped her chin and twisted her head back. "You dare to defy me?"

"Why shouldn't I? I am no longer your plaything!" Fiona looked toward Bella. "If you want to play, there are others waiting."

Bella was completely petrified. She never thought that Darwin, who had just been suffering from a headache, would now be dominating Fiona, kissing and nibbling her. She was in disbelief when Fiona mentioned about a toy. She was not a plaything. She was, in her head, the future Mrs. Solomon.

"Fiona, you're getting bolder, huh?" Darwin gritted his teeth. "You came here to teach Bella, right? That's right, you should teach her! Teach her diligently!" Darwin seemed to have gone completely mad.

He undid his tie. In Fiona's astonished gaze, he bound her wrists with it. Fiona was familiar with this move.

"Darwin!" Fiona exclaimed.

"What is your most important role by my side? Have you forgotten in just a few days?" Darwin said coldly. "Tonight, you will teach her how to please me in bed!"

"No..." Fiona shook her head, unable to believe that Darwin would humiliate her to this extent.

"No what?" Darwin squeezed her chin, laughing ominously. "You're quite skilled at it, aren't you?"

Fiona knew. Darwin had snapped. She couldn't continue provoking him.

"Darwin, I didn't want to pick up the business card. That man was too annoying. I just wanted to find Mr. Newton as soon as possible and have him review the proposal. I took the business card and threw it away immediately," Fiona pleaded.

Darwin looked at her. Fiona continued, "There's nothing between me and Harold. Please... Don't be angry..."
