That night, she didn't say anything. She stayed with Chicago through dinner and then had Lyold take her to bathe and sleep.

"That was pure luck! All kids, plus a dog! It's a miracle, you know that!" Janna shouted, slamming the table, her voice choking up at the end.
"Grandma Janna, I'm sorry, I really know I was wrong. I promised Mommy I would never do it again!" Chicago heard Janna's voice choke up and quickly ran to her, hugging her and apologizing.
"I don't believe you!" Janna pushed her away. "Go reflect on your actions!"
"Okay! I'll go reflect, please don't be mad." She replied in a low voice.
She tried to comfort Janna and then went to reflect on her actions, not daring to cry out loud, quietly wiping her tears.
"Alright, your heart isn't good, you can't stay this upset for so long." Fiona comforted as she gently patted Janna's back.
"This time is different from any other." Janna clutched her chest. "I didn't dare close my eyes last night. I just wanted to go upstairs, wake her up, and spank her hard!"
"Yes! I think you should, or I can call her over, and you can spank her hard!" Fiona said firmly.
Janna glared at her. "You always talk nonsense!"
"Alright, Thalassa just said Nora just woke up and is in a good mood. Do you want a video call with her?" Fiona tried to divert Janna's attention.
The video call connected.
Nora's chubby face almost filled the phone screen.
Her giggles were very soothing.
Janna's face finally looked a lot better.
Fiona took a moment to glance at Chicago.
Strictly speaking, this was the first time Janna had been so angry with Chicago.
This lesson would stay with her for a lifetime.
The video call ended.
Janna felt much better and looked at Chicago. "Where's Darwin?"
She had her standing as punishment, but not long after, she let her go. What a joke.
At this moment, someone needed to come up with an excuse for Chicago.
Chicago was stubborn; she wouldn't bow her head. So Janna hoped Darwin would be a peacemaker between her and Chicago.
"At work," Fiona replied.
"At work? Aren't you with him?" Janna asked in surprise.
"He's meeting Henry. Henry has been helping Darwin handle some Solomon matters lately," Fiona replied, "I have my own things to do. I can't follow him around every day. Let him handle it himself! I'm taking a few days off!"
