Chapter 1360

Rose's face was still lit up with a big smile.

She rushed back to her desk and started typing like crazy.

Her coworkers nearby couldn't help but notice that Rose seemed like a whole new person.

Her bad mood had vanished.

Rose worked late into the night and finally sent the solution to the group chat with both parties involved.

She really did fix the problem.

Sure, there were still a few minor issues, but compared to the previous mess, they were hardly worth mentioning.

Because of this, Rose's reputation at the company started to shift.

The next day, the last workday before the New Year, a chill vibe took over the Solomon Group.

Fiona didn't throw a New Year's party but handed out bonuses based on employee levels, letting everyone celebrate the New Year however they wanted.

She gave Rose a little extra.

After work, Rose found Fiona and said, "Mrs. Solomon, this bonus is a bit much!"

"You solved my big headache. This amount is just right," Fiona said, putting on her coat. "Got any plans for New Year's Eve? Hanging out with your coworkers?" she asked.

Rose's face fell a bit, and she shook her head awkwardly. "When I first got here, I was kind of a pain, and people still don't think much of me; they didn't really want to hang out."

"Take it slow," Fiona said, grabbing her briefcase. "If no one's spending New Year's Eve with you, why not come to my place?"

Rose was clearly taken aback.

She seemed totally caught off guard. "Your place?"

"Yeah," Fiona said, "No pressure, it's cool if you don't want to. I just thought it might be lonely spending New Year's Eve alone."

"I want to go!" Rose nodded quickly.

Fiona replied, "Then let's go."

Rose followed Fiona, taking the private elevator all the way down.

She looked genuinely happy.

"Like I mentioned yesterday, I'll set you up with a new project team, and Mr. Clark will get in touch after the holiday," Fiona said casually.

"Mrs. Solomon, I won't let you down, I'll give it my all!" Rose promised right away.

Fiona looked at Rose.

Her eyes didn't show much emotion.

"Rose, you've grown fast, and your future is bright," Fiona said seriously. "You'll be someone people look up to."

Rose's eyes trembled a bit.

"Me? I don't think I can." Rose lowered her gaze.

"As long as you stay on the right path, you can do it." As Fiona finished, the elevator doors opened.

She put one hand in her pocket, held her bag with the other, and walked out of the elevator towards the parking lot.

Rose wasn't as quick.

She didn't know what she was thinking, her eyes lingered on Fiona's back for a moment before she caught up.

Rose sat in the passenger seat.

Christopher had made a reservation, and as she looked at the Emerald Pool sign, her heart raced.

In the back seat, Fiona's phone rang.

As the car left the garage, she answered the call, and Rose heard Fiona's excited voice. "Hubert, are you sure? That's awesome. Even if the side effects are reduced after the injection, that's fine. This way, Darwin can come back sooner!"
