Chapter 1276

Word on the street was that some famous entrepreneur's grave got trashed.

Someone dug up a fresh grave and scattered the ashes all over the place.

To make things worse, it rained that night, so the ashes got washed away and mixed with the dirt.

They even drew some Satanic symbol on the tombstone.

The media showed pictures of the entrepreneur's spouse at the cemetery, looking devastated, and the husband had a heart attack and got rushed to the hospital.

When Fiona got the news, she was in the CEO's office, making herself a strong cup of coffee, and looking out the big window.

She opened her photo album.

She found a few videos saved in her private album.

First, someone was drawing a Satanic symbol on Robert's tombstone.

Then, they knocked over the tombstone and dug up the grave.

Finally, they scattered Robert's ashes right there.

What Fiona didn't know was that the person even peed in Robert's urn before leaving.

Fiona closed the screen.

Looking at the clear blue sky outside, she slowly sipped her coffee.

She thought, 'Robert messed with my family, so he shouldn't expect to rest in peace either.'

Just then, there was a knock on the office door.

"Come in," Fiona said.

Henry walked in.

"Aren't you supposed to go to the Blaise project the day after tomorrow? Why aren't you home with your parents today?" Fiona asked, surprised.

"My parents joined a travel group and went on a luxury cruise around the world," Henry said with a wry smile.

Since he wasn't married, Henry's parents were unhappy about it. When they left, they didn't say a word and even emptied the fridge, leaving no food behind.

Henry had to ask the neighbors to find out that his parents had already set off to tour the world.

"They have their own lives, that's good," Fiona said, putting down her coffee. "Did Annie contact you?"

Henry was shocked. "How did you know?"

Annie had been detained domestically for a few months and was extradited back two months ago.

Now that she was back on her own turf, she could move freely.

She had even started handling the Astralis Family affairs.

She made bold and decisive moves, showing great determination.

"What did she say?" Fiona asked.

"Robert's grave was dug up, and the ashes were scattered," Henry said solemnly. "Annie asked if it had anything to do with you."

"Yes," Fiona nodded without hesitation. "I had it done."

Henry was slightly taken aback.

"The night before last, thinking about what Robert and Annie did, I felt very uncomfortable," Fiona said, looking out the window. "Last year, our family could have reunited for New Year's."

Henry didn't know what had happened to Darwin.

Before the accident at the end of the year, Darwin's health was relatively okay. Except for his frequent stomach issues and the six months when Fiona faked her death and escaped, he hadn't been seriously ill.

Henry guessed it was probably because of the severe injury that hadn't healed.

"Did she also ask you what my current attitude towards the Astralis family is?" Fiona's voice brought Henry back to his senses.

Henry responded, "She did."

"What did you say?"

"I said I wasn't sure and told her to contact you directly."

Fiona nodded slightly. "If she calls again, tell her the same thing."

With Robert's ashes scattered everywhere, Annie would worry about her own fate.

She would be very uneasy, whose torment and suffering would be endless.
