Chapter 1152

They made love at it until they were totally spent, and finally, it was over.

Fiona skipped dinner and overdid it. Lying on Darwin, she felt kinda woozy.

Darwin had some gnarly scars on his hands.

His big hand covered Fiona's back, gently stroking her spine.

"I didn't have dinner," Fiona mumbled.

Darwin was surprised. "You really feeling lightheaded?"

"I'll grab the dessert Lyold made, or you want something else?" Darwin asked quickly.

"Just dessert," Fiona replied weakly.

She thought, 'Man, getting older changes everything. Not like when we were young.'

After a bit, Darwin brought up the food.

Besides dessert, he also brought some bread from the fridge.

Even though Fiona only asked for dessert, she ended up eating everything Darwin brought.

Darwin just sat beside her, watching.

Fiona didn't say anything.

She quietly finished eating and went to brush her teeth.

Darwin, knowing Fiona didn't like the smell of food lingering in the room, took the dishes downstairs.

When he came back, Fiona was already in her pajamas and lying down.

He moved closer, hugged Fiona, and kissed her forehead. "I'm really happy," he said.

Fiona smiled but then looked up and asked, "Really?"

"Yeah," Darwin said, leaning down to kiss her.

Fiona turned away.

Darwin was stunned and confused.

Fiona then pinched his mouth. "Darwin, if you mess with others again, don't think you'll be this happy."

She let go, turned off the light, and lay on her side with her back to him.

In the dark, she heard Darwin chuckle.

Then the bed dipped beside her, and Darwin lay down, his warm body pressing against her, hugging her from behind, burying his face in her neck.

He gently kissed her.

"Honey, what a big threat," he said softly.

"You better know that," Fiona replied.

"I'll be good; I'll listen to everything you say." His voice was very seductive.

Fiona patted the back of his hand. "Go to sleep! I will go to that park tomorrow!"

"Okay." Darwin nodded.

Since he had told Fiona everything, he had no worries.

She could go if she wanted to.

"And..." Fiona turned around. "I'll have Mike look for that kid you mentioned tomorrow. It's rare for you to care about a stranger; if we can help him, we should."

"You're so kind, honey," Darwin said, feeling very happy, and kissed Fiona. "He saw you before at the Walker family, and he told me you were very gentle and beautiful; he liked you a lot."

"Really?" Fiona asked.

There were too many guests at the Walker family during that time. Every family brought their kids, Fiona really didn't know which kid Darwin was referring to.

"Yeah." Darwin hugged Fiona. "His mom was always bad to him, and when he met you, you were with Charles and Chicago, you were much gentler to Charles and Chicago than to me."

Fiona said, "So, were you secretly jealous of Charles and Chicago?"

Darwin wrapped Fiona in his arms. "Of course, I'm jealous of anyone you're nice to, including Charles and Chicago."
