Chapter 1150

Fiona laughed, "Of course, I'll take you with me!"

"Awesome!" Charlotte was thrilled but then glanced back at the terrace. "I still need to finish my workbook."

"The ones Charles got you?" Fiona asked.

Charlotte nodded, "Dad says Charles is a genius, and he's right. Those workbooks are super helpful!"

"Alright, go ahead. Use the front door, not the window," Fiona pointed to the main door. "And stay out of the sun."

"Got it!"

With that, Charlotte dashed off.

"She's like a completely different person from when she first got here," Darwin remarked.

Fiona nodded, her eyes full of warmth. "Isn't she adorable?"

Darwin was speechless.

Adorable? That wasn't exactly the word he'd use for Charlotte. But if Fiona said so, then it must be true.

"Fiona!" Darwin looked up at her.

"What's up?"

Darwin spread his arms wide. "Come here and give me a hug."

Fiona smiled helplessly and walked over, wrapping her arms around him.

"Darwin."

"Yeah?"

"Welcome home."

Darwin hugged her tighter.

A little while later, Thalassa and Kenny returned with Melissa from her vaccination, and Carey was with them.

Thalassa was as happy as if it were a holiday.

She kept holding up Melissa for Darwin to see. "You probably don't recognize her now, right? She's grown into a little chubby! Melissa, say hi to Uncle Darwin!"

Melissa, already in a bad mood from the shot and feeling sleepy, was jostled a couple of times.

She looked at Darwin, her little mouth quivering, eyes welling up with tears.

Then she burst into tears.

Darwin was taken aback by her sudden crying.

Kenny took the wailing Melissa from Thalassa. "Darwin, she's just tired. I'll put her to sleep."

"Okay," Darwin nodded.

"Thanks, Kenny!" Thalassa made a big heart shape with her hands.

Kenny patted Melissa's back as he walked to the room.

Darwin was amazed. "Kenny has changed so much."

"Of course, under my influence!" Thalassa sat up straight, dramatically patting her chest, adding, "To be fair, Mr. Solomon has changed a lot too!"

Suddenly, Thalassa seemed to remember something and cautiously asked, "You've got all your memories back, right? Do you remember being a jerk?"

"Yeah, I remember everything," Darwin nodded. "Not only do I remember being a jerk, but I also remember how you used to act like a mouse seeing a cat whenever you saw me. You've changed a lot too, especially your courage."

"Absolutely!" Thalassa replied confidently. "Just look at my support system now. With your wife and my husband, I've got all the backup I need!"

"Alright, can you two stop with the snarky comments and just talk normally?" Fiona gave them a warning look.

Thalassa clung to Fiona's arm, whining, "Fiona, last year when you guys went camping, Melissa was too young, so Kenny and I couldn't go. This time, you have to take me with you!"

After a year of being a mom, the once free-spirited Thalassa hadn't traveled far at all.

Now, she was so eager for a trip that just hearing the word made her exciting!
