Chapter 1059
Chicago was well-behaved.
Obediently holding Fiona's hand, she walked towards the parking lot.
When they arrived, someone was already waiting there.
It was Anna and her husband with Brady and Declan.
"Chicago, are you okay?" Brady ran over as soon as he saw Chicago, and before he could even stand still, tears started streaming down his face.
Chicago looked helpless. "Don't cry! Men shouldn't cry so easily!"
The adults all burst into laughter.
However, Brady kept crying, "Just wait, when I save enough money, I'll come to Bay City to visit you!"
"Okay." Chicago nodded.
She then took a tissue from his small bag and handed it to Brady to wipe his tears. "Listen to your mom more, and get fewer beatings."
Brady cried even harder.
He nodded repeatedly. "I will!"
Chicago said, "Godmother is still waiting for us, we have to go."
Brady wiped his tears while nodding. "I still have summer homework to finish, so I can't see you off. Guys, I'll miss you all!"
Saying this, he hugged Chicago, then hugged Ethan.
When he wanted to hug Charlotte, he was stopped by Charlotte's stern look.
He turned to hug Charles, who he wasn't very familiar with.
Charles was silent.
He didn't understand why Brady was crying so much and found it quite ridiculous. But he didn't push him away.
After getting in the car, he quietly took out many disinfectant wipes and slowly wiped the snot and tears Brady had left on his clothes.
Fiona made sure all the kids were in the car and seated in their car seats.
Only then did she prepare to get in the car.
"We're leaving," She said to Anna and her husband before getting in.
Anna nodded. "See you in Bay City."
"Okay."
Anna and her husband watched as Fiona's convoy drove away.
As the car drove further away, Brady's sadness became even more uncontrollable.
He simply threw his head back and wailed.
Anna was silent.
She had never seen he cried like this when he got spanked.
"Brady, that's enough," Anna said, trying to hold back.
Brady immediately calmed down, sobbing, and gave her an OK gesture, then said while sobbing, "Mom, you have to understand, they are my best friends!"
"Alright, just let him cry," Samuel comforted Anna, "Let's go, let's check on Mom. I bet she's furious with Philip and Janet."
"If it were up to me, I wouldn't give them any money. I'd just break Philip and Janet's legs and throw them out." Mentioning Philip and Janet made Anna furious.
Arnold was such a good person.
How did he end up raising such selfish people?
"Do you think Mom doesn't want to?" Samuel sighed. "She's just worried Arnold wouldn't be at peace."
Anna frowned.
She didn't say anything more.
Nobles and wealthy families from all over the world continued to come and go at the Walker family estate. But there was no longer Arnold, who used to keep everything in perfect order.
