Chapter 746 Meeting Each Other in Words
He doesn't love this woman. Why would he write to her?
"You're lying!" Gray didn't hesitate to speak up.
"I'm not. You've seen it," Fiona replied, and a letter appeared on the screen. The paper had turned yellow with age.
"Dear Lily..." A letter filled with guilt and longing for a lover. One after another, the letters revealed not just longing but also resentment toward Gray. She read every word, and saw her beloved man expressing disgust for her and saying he wanted to poison her and run away. Despite his intentions, he couldn't bring himself to harm her. Finally, when he decided to act, Gray became pregnant. The child's birth only added to the man's pain.
"It's fake! He didn't write those! You forged them! He loves me!" Gray became even distraught. "Don't play it anymore, turn it off!"
"Whether we forged them or not, your son and daughter know the truth. They can still recognize their father's handwriting," Fiona said coldly.
Then, her gaze shifted to the weeping woman, and her tone softened. "Lily, please go with him to collect your husband's ashes. He's waiting for you to take him home."
"No!" Gray immediately protested. She became agitated, and even the two bodyguards couldn't hold her back.
"He's my husband, you can't take him away!" Gray looked at Lily with malice. "Don't forget how I dealt with you and your family back then. If you take him away, I will make sure that my people will annihilate your entire family!"
"Lily, don't be afraid," Fiona raised her voice. "I've already taken care of her family's dock, and more than ninety percent of her brothers have been sentenced to death. The rest will also be imprisoned for life. No one can harm you!"
"What did you say?" Gray looked at Fiona in shock. Cyrus was also stunned.
"Fiona, my uncle..."
"Yes, it's your uncle. For so many years, they've been in control of Azure Wharf, and they've done so many bad things. Even your father's death was covered up by them. What goes around comes around, and now it's their turn!" Fiona's people had already left with the heartbroken Lily.
Gray was torn between her past and present. She desperately called out for Cyrus and Aura. "Hurry, go stop her, don't let her take your father away!"
But whether it was Cyrus or Aura, they remained silent. In that short moment, the information they received was too shocking.
"I've said everything I need to. I will arrange a place for you to spend the rest of your lives," Fiona said coldly. "Rest assured, you won't die. You'll live a long, long life."
"Fiona!" Aura suddenly spoke up.
Fiona looked at her coldly. Aura's face was bruised and swollen, looking miserable and ridiculous, but she suddenly smiled. "You don't really believe that nothing happened between me and Blaise, do you?"
"Aura!" Cyrus snapped back to his senses. He panicked and reprimanded Aura.
"You're afraid of her, but I'm not!" Aura provocatively stared at Fiona. "Unlike my parents, Blaise and I truly loved each other before he met you. What do you think adults do when they're in love?" Aura locked eyes with Fiona. She wanted to see Fiona's expression collapse, to see her angry.
However, Fiona raised an eyebrow slightly. "What do you think they do? Kiss? Sleep together?"
The smile on Aura's face slowly disappeared. "Of course, when he's in good shape, we did it almost every day..." She paused.
Fiona couldn't help but almost laugh. "What's the point of telling me all this? Even if he can't touch you at all, so what? Are you hoping that I, because my husband is seriously injured and loses his memory, will find him dirty and disgusting?"
The smile on Aura's face vanished completely. The flesh on Aura's cheeks trembled uncontrollably due to her anger.
"If anyone is dirty, it's only you." Fiona looked at her with disgust and was about to leave.
Aura panicked. She desperately tried to break free and rushed to Fiona's side. "Let me see him again! Let me see him one more time!! I can die for it!"
"He is disgusted by you, how could he possibly want to see you?" Fiona threw these words and walked away without looking back.
"Fiona! It's you who's stopping him! Blaise wouldn't not want to see me! It's you!" Aura struggled desperately.
"You people are really..." Before leaving, Burl cast a disdainful glance at this family of three. "You've played out the malice to the fullest. Mom stole someone else's fiance, daughter tried to take someone else's husband, and son coveted someone else's wife... You're all malicious people!"
Cyrus's face turned as white as a sheet.
After Burl finished speaking, he shook his head and followed Fiona. The bosses all left. The bodyguards who had been restraining Aura's family let go angrily.
Gray immediately crawled to the dazed Cyrus and said, "Cyrus, go save your father! We can't let that woman take him away! He must stay with our family!"
Cyrus's gaze was somewhat dazed. He looked at Gray stiffly. Although it was the same face, Gray now seemed very strange to Cyrus. Gray even looked somewhat ferocious now. "This is Dad's handwriting, I can recognize it!"
Cyrus pointed at the screen that was still playing and said stiffly, "Mom, look, look at how painful it was for Dad to be with us! You have to look!" After Cyrus finished speaking, he suddenly went crazy and forced Gray to look at the screen. Gray's eyes were filled with tears. She was trembling all over. In her mind, she kept seeing what her husband looked like when she first met him. She kept seeing how he always ignored her later. At times like this, she would use his family and that daughter named Lily to threaten him, forcing him to smile, to be close to her, to make love to her.
"It's his fault!" Gray pushed Cyrus away violently. "No matter what I did, he has already married me, he should be loyal to me! He shouldn't have written such a letter to that bitch, I gave birth to his child, I took care of him, what did I do wrong!"
Cyrus looked at his mother. There was a buzzing in his ears. In front of Cyrus, his father's face flashed for a moment, and then Fiona's face full of disdain appeared.
