Chapter 937
Fiona finished speaking. Then she let go of Thalassa and left.
Scarlet, Janna, and Matt had been forced to go to the hotel for a rest.
Charles and Chicago refused to leave while Charlotte was protecting the baby.
The three children slept on the sofa in the living room.
Even though there were rooms across the hall where they could rest, they didn't budge.
Burl even slept on the ground in a corner.
Only Darwin was lightly dozing on the sofa. As soon as he heard the door open, he woke up immediately. He probably hadn't actually slept, so his eyes were bloodshot with fatigue.
Fiona walked over and gently touched his cheek. "You spoil them too much."
"It's okay." Darwin put his arm around her waist. "Are you hungry? Let's go out for a bite."
"Don't we take them with us?" Fiona gestured towards Chicago, who was soundly sleeping.
Darwin nodded with a smile. "Just the two of us, quietly."
"Great." Fiona smiled and held Darwin's hand.
Darwin picked up the cane next to him, and the two of them quietly opened the door and went out.
Charlotte watched as she slowly closed and opened her eyes.
Upon leaving the ward, Fiona immediately had Thalassa's food prepared and sent to the room.
Just as they reached the elevator, the elevator doors opened. Stella and Alexander walked out, looking refreshed.
"Is Thalassa awake?" Stella quickly asked, showing the thermos in her hand. "Alexander gave me a recipe, and I just made this!"
"She's just woken up. You can go in later; Thalassa is probably soothing Kenny," Fiona whispered.
Stella had also seen yesterday that Kenny seemed a bit disoriented when he came out of the delivery room.
"OK, what are you guys..." Stella raised an eyebrow playfully.
"Just a brief date," Fiona said and then led Darwin into the elevator.
Stella was in a good mood. She was about to leave when she glanced to the side and saw Alexander standing still and staring at the elevator door.
"Alexander, what's wrong?" Stella asked in confusion.
Alexander withdrew his gaze and shook his head slightly. "I just got a little distracted."
Stella blinked. "Did you miss Father Ben? Since Thalassa has given birth, when she goes to the postnatal care center, we'll return to the church!"
Alexander looked at Stella. The smile in his eyes grew stronger. He really liked the feeling of being constantly watched by Stella.
"Sure." Alexander patted her head. "After seeing Father Ben, do you want to go to Kenya?"
"Can we make it?" Stella's eyes immediately lit up.
Since she was fifteen or sixteen years old, Stella had wanted to see the great animal migration. But she always missed it for various reasons.
"It should be possible," Alexander replied.
"Then let's go!" Stella nodded repeatedly. "Consider it our belated honeymoon!"
Alexander held her hand and put it around his arm. As they walked forward, he said, "Actually, I've always felt that the time we spent on the cruise was our honeymoon."
Stella was taken aback. Then she took a tumble. "Right... That was really amazing back then!"
Alexander looked at her and smiled. "So our honeymoon wasn't ruined; it was just a regular trip!"
Stella nodded.
