Chapter 1451

"Of course, I'll take you with me," Fiona said, her tone indulgent.

Thalassa shot a challenging look at Darwin, who was left speechless.

Some people should really learn to be more careful!

That day, Janna was the last one to come home.

It was time for the semi-annual performance reviews, and subsidiaries from all over the world were coming to Armie to report to Janna.

Janna was so busy she barely had time to catch her breath.

Fortunately, because of Stella last year, Fiona had made connections with the Beaumont family.

Preston was now based in Bay City and gave Janna weekly check-ups. Over the past year, Janna's health has improved significantly.

She had even grown some hair back and was looking much more spirited.

When Janna got home and heard Darwin was back, she hurriedly took the elevator upstairs.

When she saw Darwin, Thalassa, and Kenny were busy with something, and Fiona was also occupied.

Melissa and Darwin were sitting face-to-face, staring at each other, creating a scene that was both adorable and a bit absurd.

Feeling Janna's gaze, Darwin looked up and smiled softly, "Hey, Grandma."

"You're back?" Janna walked a few steps closer, examining Darwin carefully. "Wasn't the treatment supposed to be tough? You look sturdier than when you left."

"Mr. Graham arranged for regular physical training and a very nutritious diet," Darwin replied obediently.

Janna walked up to him.

She instinctively glanced at his legs.

Realizing what she was looking at, Darwin quickly stood up and walked back and forth in front of her. "All better!"

"Okay, okay, sit down," Janna quickly motioned for him to sit.

"Grandma."

At that moment, Melissa, sitting on the couch, clapped her chubby little hands and called out to Janna.

"My Melissa!" Janna's attention was immediately drawn to her. "Did you just call me Grandma?"

Janna's secretary, standing nearby, smiled, "Mrs. Solomon, it sounded like she did."

Janna picked up Melissa. "Melissa has grown, and she's heavier now!"

Melissa was particularly good at charming the elderly.

In Janna's arms, she was as well-behaved as could be.

Darwin watched and instinctively looked at the drool on his shirt.

"Great-grandma!" A sharp voice called out.

Chicago emerged from the art studio.

"I told you your back isn't good. You shouldn't be carrying Melissa. What if you hurt your back?" She said, looking very serious and adult-like.

Seeing this, Darwin acted as if facing a great enemy, quickly taking Melissa from Janna's arms.

Melissa looked bewildered.

"Chicago, are you bossing me around now?" Janna said, half-laughing, half-crying, looking at the serious-faced Chicago.

"Great-grandma, you're an adult. Shouldn't you be ashamed to make a little kid worry about you?" Chicago crossed her arms, looking very disappointed.

Janna couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, alright, I'm ashamed. I won't carry her next time!"

"Promise me, adults shouldn't lie to kids!"

"I promise," Janna said helplessly, looking at Darwin. "You see what happened while you were gone? Your daughter has become more domineering, managing everyone in the house, young and old!"

As she spoke, Chicago went over to Melissa, holding her hand. "Melissa, you have to be good too. Great-grandma is old, and her back hurts a lot. She can't stand up straight sometimes. You shouldn't ask her to carry you, okay?"
