Chapter 1052

"She didn't die because her friends risked their lives to save her. What does that have to do with you?" Fiona said, picking up the iPad. "To be honest, your performance was much better than that of professional actors, both in expression and voice."

"Mrs. Solomon, I was wrong! Please spare me!" Abigail cried out, "We are both women; you can do anything to me; just don't release the video. I beg you! Let me die with dignity and purity, I beg you!"

Fiona laughed.

It was a very beautiful laugh. But to Abigail, it was chilling to the bone.

"So are dignity and purity your weaknesses? Abigail, you specifically reminded me." Fiona lightly tapped the iPad with her fingers. "I will let the whole world appreciate such a good thing, especially those who know you."

Abigail was utterly shocked. "No!"

Fiona walked out without looking back.

Outside the door.

Everyone fell silent as she emerged.

Abigail was still screaming in utter despair.

Fiona handed the iPad to Burl. "Thank you all for your hard work. I won't disturb your normal process any further."

"We should be thanking you for your cooperation," the police said.

Fiona nodded slightly. Then, she left directly with Scarlet and the others.

"Fiona, should we spread those videos now?" Burl asked as they walked.

Fiona glanced at him. "Who said anything about spreading them?"

"Didn't you just tell Abigail that?" Burl was puzzled.

Scarlet and Anna exchanged glances.

"In her mind, it's already as good as spread to everyone." Fiona's tone was indifferent.

After all, if those videos were released, it would only lead to another sickening frenzy among disgusting people.

Her goal was to break Abigail, to make her collapse day and night in utter despair and shame, knowing her purity and dignity were completely lost before she died.

Now, the goal was achieved.

Whether the videos were spread or not no longer mattered.

"Aunt Scarlet, Anna, I need to go to the hospital so that I won't be joining you." Fiona looked at Scarlet and Anna.

The two nodded quickly. They watched Fiona leave.

"Now I understand why so many people are willing to follow her orders." Scarlet sighed.

Chelsea had extensive connections, from ordinary thugs to ruthless mercenaries and organizational leaders.

Scarlet had spent most of her life building her network, and it was no more than this.

"Fiona is a kind person," Anna added immediately.

Scarlet glanced at Anna.

"Yes, that's a fitting word." Scarlet nodded repeatedly.

If it were her in today's situation...

The sky began to drizzle again.

Fiona was very tired. Her forehead rested against the cool car window, and veins occasionally bulged at her temples.

"Fiona, are you okay?" Burl asked softly.

Fiona opened her eyes and looked at Burl. "Burl, do you blame me for not spreading those videos?"

Burl pursed his lips. "At first, I was a bit angry. She almost killed Chicago. But I know you have your principles, and I understand."
