Chapter 908
Anna followed Samuel back.
"Anna!" Amelia shouted.
Anna stopped and turned to look at Amelia and said, "Since we're bringing up the past, I've always had a question."
Amelia seemed to realize something, her eyes slightly avoiding Anna's gaze.
"I clearly locked my room that night. How did he get in? Only you had a spare key, right?" Anna asked each word distinctly.
Amelia's face turned pale in an instant. She said, "I don't know what you're talking about. You must be mistaken."

Then Amelia looked up and saw Anna looking at her as if she were watching a joke.
Amelia's pride felt like it had been stabbed.
Then she heard Anna say, "When Grandma took me back, she told me that no matter what I went through, I should keep my dignity and not be consumed by hatred or sink to your level."
Amelia furrowed her brow. She had only seen Ava twice.
A once-glamorous young lady, now a lowly old woman selling fries. Yet she carried herself with a high and mighty attitude.
She looked down on Amelia, looked down on David.
So Amelia always disliked Anna's grandmother.
Now, hearing Anna quote her words, Amelia felt even more uncomfortable.
"Now it seems Grandma was right," Anna continued. "I didn't sink to your level, so I have a loving family and husband now, while you..."
Anna glanced Amelia up and down, her lips curling into a slight smile. "You became a homewrecker, desperately clawing your way up, and fate rewarded you with two good-for-nothing children, as if they were here to collect a debt. "I didn't!" Amelia instinctively denied it.
How could she ever beg Anna!
