Chapter 1004

Alexander felt a slight surprise.

This was the first time since Alexander and Stella got married that they were urged to have children.

The Beaumont family was not particularly keen on the idea of continuing the family bloodline.

If they wanted children, that was fine; if not, it didn't matter.

"Liam, Stella, and I just got married; we haven't planned for that yet," Alexander answered sincerely.

Liam was taken aback, then his face turned red.

"I'm not asking you to have children, I mean..." Liam stammered in his urgency, then slapped his thigh. "I mean, do you two want to take Mason with you?"

Alexander was stunned again." Take Mason?"

"Yes! Since you last visited, Mason has been missing his mother. You know, he lost his parents when he was just a baby and never even saw his mother. I don't know what he's thinking," Liam sighed and said, "I guess Mrs. Beaumont has a special charm; he really likes her."

"I understand, Liam," Alexander replied calmly, as always, "I can't make this decision alone; I'll discuss it with Stella when I get back."

"Alright," Liam said, somewhat sad. "I know this is sudden."

"No need to say more." Alexander patted Liam's shoulder. "I understand."

Liam looked at Alexander and said in a muffled voice, "Go rest now. Father Ben said that since you're rarely back, you shouldn't skip morning lessons. Attend the morning lesson tomorrow before going over."

"Alright." Alexander nodded.

Liam was silent for a moment, then added, "Father Ben said if Mrs. Beaumont is willing, she can come along too."

Alexander's eyes lit up immediately. "Great! Stella would love to; she really would!"

"Go back, I'm leaving." Liam waved his hand and turned to walk back.

Alexander didn't immediately tell Stella that Father Ben was willing to let her visit him.

As for Stella's personality, if she had found out in advance, she would have been overjoyed that night.

Early the next morning, Alexander waited outside Stella's room.

When she came out, she still looked half-asleep, walking unsteadily.

"Is Mr. Beaumont here?" a woman from another room greeted Alexander warmly.

Stella looked up, thinking Alexander had spent another night at Father Ben's place, and walked up to him helplessly. "Didn't you sleep again?"

"I did." Alexander nodded with a smile. "I'm here to take you to the morning lesson."

"Aren't you going to Father Ben's place?" Stella asked.

Alexander shook his head. "Father Ben said to attend the morning lesson first, then take you along."

"Alright." Stella nodded drowsily.

She hooked one of Alexander's fingers and headed towards the chapel.

After a few steps, she suddenly realized.

She turned back abruptly, asking, "What?"

Alexander, already refreshed in the morning, was further delighted by Stella's adorable demeanor.

His mood improved even more.

"What?" he laughed, mimicking Stella, "Don't you want to go?"

"I do!" Stella nodded immediately, then, disregarding the people around, hugged Alexander tightly. "So happy!"

Alexander laughed, apologizing to the passersby with a gesture. He held Stella's waist protectively.

Stella said, "Oh no! I didn't expect Father Ben to see me so soon! I didn't prepare any gifts!"

Last time, at least, they bought some things outside the chapel.
