Chapter 1060

Thalassa had been feeling restless these past few days.

She had an uneasy feeling, as if something bad was about to happen.

Last night, she even had a dream where Nora was taken away and couldn't be found. Then, she turned around and saw Chicago and Charles being dragged away by monsters in the dark.

She woke up almost crying and screaming.

Before Thalassa gave birth, Kenny had already hired a psychological expert to stay with her.

Given the situation, Kenny was worried she might be experiencing postpartum depression.

Fortunately, after the psychologist came to see her, they didn't diagnose her with that.

Kenny also told Fiona things about last night.

The purpose was to have Fiona comfort Thalassa as much as possible when she arrived.

Although Kenny was reluctant to admit it, some things only Fiona could soothe Thalassa.

"Good thing it's not postpartum depression." Fiona sighed in relief. "It means she has some kind of connection with Chicago. When something happens to Chicago, she starts to feel uneasy."

Chicago held Fiona's hand.

Her eyes widened. "Godmother loves me so much."

"Did you just realize?" Fiona tapped her forehead. "Do you know what you need to do now?"

Chicago nodded without hesitation.

Then she let go of Fiona's hand and sweetly called out, "Godmother!"

She rushed into Thalassa's room.

Fiona shook her head with a smile, then looked at Kenny. "You've been taking such good care of her, and she's been in a good mood. Don't worry."

She paused, then said with a smile, "I'm more worried about you getting postpartum depression than her."

Since Thalassa was in her late pregnancy, Kenny's nerves had been on edge.

Thalassa was in great condition, but he was clearly sleep-deprived.

Chicago ran in the room, and Thalassa immediately hugged her.

When Fiona entered, she saw them being affectionate.

"You two be affectionate, I'll go love Nora." Fiona joked and went to see the sleeping Nora.

Usually, when Nora was asleep, Fiona wouldn't hold her.

Now that she was going back to Bay City, it would be at least a month before they could meet again.

Fiona didn't care if Nora was sleeping; she carefully picked her up and let her sleep in her arms.

"You have no idea how scary last night's nightmare was!" Thalassa, done being affectionate with Chicago, didn't miss Charles walking in slowly. She told Fiona and then looked at Charles with tears in her eyes, "Charles, in my dream, I screamed until my throat was hoarse!"

"Godmother, it was just a dream." Charles gently patted her shoulder. "Dreams are the opposite of reality. If you had such a dream, it means Nora, Chicago and I will all be fine and healthy."

"That's right!" Thalassa slapped her forehead.

"Honey," Kenny said helplessly.

She slapped herself so hard that her forehead immediately turned red.

"Charles has grown up!" Thalassa said emotionally, "He knows how to comfort me now!"

Her anxiety about the nightmare naturally dissipated after Fiona's family arrived.

Not long after, Stella and Alexander also arrived.

They chatted for a while. After saying goodbye to Thalassa and Kenny, Fiona and the others left the maternity care center together.

Learning that Thalassa had nightmares like that after Chicago's accident, Stella sighed helplessly on the way back.

"But once she recovers, she won't be able to be kept in the dark about what happened during this time," Stella whispered, "Thalassa will definitely argue with you all."

Fiona shrugged.

She said helplessly but confidently, "What can we do? We'll just have to coax her then."

Darwin, leaning on a cane, walked behind them with Alexander.

"We're planning to stop by the church on our way to Bay City," Alexander said to Darwin, "You should go back and confirm the treatment time."

Darwin glanced at the distant clouds.

"Forget it," he said calmly.
