Chapter 1065

Janna was anxious when Charles slowly came down the stairs.

"Chicago, what are you doing here?" His gaze fell on Chicago, and he asked sincerely.

Chicago sobbed without saying a word.

Fiona laughed. "She got scolded by Grandma Janna and is being punished to reflect."

Chicago became even more upset. She even started to whimper.

Janna, with her back to Chicago and Charles, glared at Fiona and pinched her lightly on the leg.

"Reflecting?" Charles walked down. "But school is about to start, and she hasn't caught up on her studies yet."

This was exactly what Janna was waiting for.

"Really?" She raised her voice. "Studying is indeed more important. Let's end this for today, go study!"

Chicago, still sobbing, turned around.

Janna felt a pang of heartache just looking at her.

Chicago's nose was red from crying, and her eyes were red, looking pitiful.

She said, "Grandma Janna, I'm going to study."

"Alright." Janna nodded.

Chicago wiped her tears as she walked to the study.

Once she was in the study, Janna quickly called out to Lyold, "What are you standing there for? Quickly get her some of her favorite food and take it to the study!"

"Right away!" Lyold nodded repeatedly.

Fiona, with her elbow resting on the back of the sofa, leisurely watched Janna. "Look at you, what was all this fuss about this morning?"

"To teach her a lesson!" Janna said, reaching out to Charles. "Charles, come to me!"

Charles had come downstairs because his alarm went off, and he wanted to have a milkshake.

He walked over slowly.

Janna hugged him. "Charles is the one who worries me the least in our family. You just need to eat more and gain some weight, don't just focus on getting smarter."

"Don't worry, I will!"

"Good boy!" Janna patted his back. "Go have your milkshake. After you finish, it's best to look into the distance for a while. Don't always stare at the computer. I'm worried you'll get nearsighted."

"Okay!"

Janna lovingly watched Charles go to the dining room.

Then she thought about how Chicago almost passed away, and her heart ached again. "Chicago has had such a tough life before she was born. So young, and she's already been through so much hardship!"

"Alright." Fiona pinched Janna's shoulder. "Shouldn't we do something for Wyatt?"

"Let's go to my study." Janna stood up.

Fiona followed her closely to Janna's suite.

Around the same time, Darwin and Henry were in the conference room, drinking tea and discussing various matters related to Solomons.

After the recent online communication with Darwin, Henry had no worries or concerns at all.

"The current operational status of the company is pretty much like this. During this period, the projects initiated by Ms. Woods were all within your previous plans," Henry said gently, "The projects already in operation are doing very well. Your future work will be to expand new business."

"You're right," Darwin responded.

"So, do you plan to attend next week's monthly and quarterly shareholders' meetings?" Henry asked cautiously.

"Yes, I will," Darwin answered without hesitation.

Henry immediately beamed. "It's time for everyone in the group to see that you have returned safely!"

"Thank you for your hard work during this time." Darwin looked up at Henry. "After the shareholders' meeting, I will reward everyone accordingly."
