Chapter 1170

Darwin's grip on his cane got real tight.

At first, Henry and the crew thought Darwin was just in a good mood.

But not even a minute after Fiona bounced, Darwin's mood began to grow somber, making even Henry feel all kinds of uneasy.

The elevator dinged, and they all piled in.

As the doors were closing, Darwin shot a death glare at someone who didn't make it in.

Suddenly, he recalled the incident from that day when he was nearly pushed down the stairs.

"Hold up!" Darwin instinctively jammed the closing doors.

The elevator bounced back, but his arm still tingled.

"Mr. Solomon!" Henry and the others yelled.

Darwin stormed out with his cane, but the annoying person had vanished.

Worried, he made a beeline for Fiona.

Upstairs, the wind was howling.

Ashton asked Fiona, "Does Nathaniel have a screw loose?"

Darwin's background was a mystery, even to Ashton.

"Not sure, I'll check," Fiona replied, dodging the question.

Suddenly, the terrace door flew open.

Darwin burst in.

"Darwin?" Fiona asked, totally shocked.

"You okay?" Darwin asked, scanning her.

Fiona shook her head and told Ashton, "We'll chat later."

She hung up.

"I'm fine. Did something go down?" Fiona asked.

Darwin looked pale and freaked out.

He didn't say a word, just tried to catch his breath and hugged Fiona tight.

Leaning against her, he said, "Babe, I'm not well."

Fiona hugged him back, patting his back. "What's up?"

Darwin buried his head in her neck and started sobbing.

"I'm losing control of him," he said.

"Him?" Fiona's heart skipped a beat.

"Darwin," he said, gripping her tighter. "The other Darwin."

Fiona's mind immediately jumped to 'split personality.'
