Chapter 954

Fiona was staring at the iPad on her knees, reading a document without looking up. "Wyatt."

Wyatt paused for a moment.

Fiona added, "Remember what I said when I was at your place. Even if you don't care about yourself, you'd better look out for Stella. Live your life well. Don't get trapped in the abyss of regret and revenge. Don't bring unnecessary turbulence to Stella's peaceful life. Don't let Stella... think you're a troublemaker, okay?"

The sentence 'Don't let Stella think you're a troublemaker' from Fiona sounded like a thunderclap in Wyatt's ears.

The time seemed to freeze.

Wyatt didn't reply, nor did he move.

About five or six minutes passed, and Wyatt seemed to regain his consciousness. He mumbled a response in a hoarse voice, pushed open the car door, got out, and walked into the rain.

Only then did Fiona look out of the window.

After all this, Wyatt seemed to have lost a lot of weight, making him look particularly lonely and pitiful in the rain.

"Does this mean that Wyatt has promised not to cause trouble anymore?" Christopher asked Fiona.

"Probably." Fiona sounded somewhat resigned.

"To be honest, if I were Ms. White, I would choose Mr. Beaumont," Christopher suddenly said.

He had been through a lot of fights over the years, thus having a lot of injuries.

During his stay in North Alabama, Alexander had helped cure his several injuries, and Christopher no longer woke up in pain as he used to.

Therefore, he showed more politeness and respect towards Alexander than towards Fiona, his boss.

"Why?" Fiona asked.

"Mr. Beaumont is too emotionally stable. Look at Wyatt. He used to have a refined appearance, but now he's all over the place, ready to go crazy at any moment!" Christopher said.

Fiona chuckled speechlessly.

"Anyway, in the future, I must choose a man for Charlotte carefully when she grows old enough to get married. Anyone emotionally unstable is a no-go!" Christopher started dreaming about being a father-in-law and grandfather in the future.

"Alright, don't dream while driving. I didn't have breakfast or lunch. I'm starving!" Fiona scolded.

Christopher chuckled, started the car, and slowly drove away.

Wyatt stood at the gate. He glanced back at the departing car. Then he looked at the door lock.

After standing for a while, instead of using his fingerprint to unlock it, he pressed the doorbell directly.

He pressed the doorbell three times. It was his secret code with Stella.

When Darwin was chasing Stella before, they had set this code, which meant he was here.

Wyatt pressed the doorbell.

Then he took a step back, staring at the door.

One second, two seconds...

The door remained motionless.

While waiting, Wyatt felt as if his heart had been through countless tortures.

Revenge was no longer an option.

Stella would think he was a troublemaker.

So, what else could he do to connect himself with her?

It seemed that there was nothing else.

Wyatt had never wanted to enter her world. He didn't like her nail salon or her constant nagging about traveling the world together.

Travel the world?

Wyatt snapped back to reality.

Then, he immediately opened the door and ran in clumsily.

He rummaged through Stella's computer. The password was his birthday

As he opened the computer, Wyatt found Stella's plan to travel the world.

He clicked the file open.

Wyatt burst into tears once again.

Over the years, all her important plans in life involved him.

[I want to celebrate my thirtieth birthday in Iceland with Wyatt!]
[I want to see the Northern Lights in Norway with Wyatt!]
[I want to attend the fireworks festival in Osaka with Wyatt!]
[I want to watch the Gemini meteor shower with Wyatt!]

It was endless.
