Chapter 127 Fiona is Not Pregnant

Fiona burst into tears of joy immediately. "Wyatt, thank you... I... I will repay you properly!"

"Don't blame Darwin either. He gets paranoid when he cares too much and is taken advantage of by scheming people," Wyatt paused for a moment. "You know, because of what happened with Lilian, he became very suspicious."

Mentioning Darwin, Fiona's emotions instantly turned cold. She and Darwin could never go back to how things were. He didn't trust her, seriously injured Dagmar, and even wanted to kill her children. His sins were unforgivable.

"Mr. Durham, there's something else I need to trouble you with. My friend had an accident and is hospitalized now, but there's no one to accompany her..." Thinking of Ashton, Fiona's nose began to feel feel sruffy again.

"I'll send someone over soon, don't worry."

"Thank you..."

Wyatt looked at Fiona's exhausted appearance.

He couldn't bear it. "What are your plans now?"

"I will leave him," Fiona said without hesitation.

Wyatt pondered for a moment. "He won't let go easily."

Fiona frowned with disgust. Her heart ached uncontrollably again.

"Even so, I will leave. I won't let my children have a father who wants to kill them!" Fiona's tone was resolute.

Wyatt nodded. "Anyway, if you need any help, you can find me."

When Fiona was pushed back to the hospital room, there was no trace of color on her face.

Darwin wanted to hold her hand. Fiona turned her face away, and her hand retreated into the blanket. Darwin's hand froze in mid-air.

"Fiona, we will have our own children in the future," he whispered softly.

Fiona remained silent. Her hand rested on her abdomen. Who was he to deserve it? Fiona was truly tired. Curling up in the blanket, ignoring Darwin, she quickly fell asleep. She had to take good care of herself and let the babies grow up healthy. Afterwards, she would have to escape and fight a fierce battle!

Darwin sat by Fiona's side. Looking at her cold figure, he also felt uneasy.

Fiona slept for the whole day. The doctor came in a few times, administering medication for postoperative inflammation, but in reality, it was nutrient solution for nurturing the fetus.

Finally, Fiona woke up in the evening. Darwin immediately had someone deliver a nutritious dinner.

Fiona glanced at it coldly and asked, "Where's Dagmar?"

"He won't die," Darwin fed the soup to her.

Fiona glanced at it, waved her hand, and smashed the soup bowl against the wall.

The bodyguards outside heard the commotion and rushed in.

"Get out!" Darwin didn't even look at them.

The few men awkwardly left and closed the door behind them.

Darwin wiped his hands clean with a handkerchief.

"Is this how you fed Lilian too? Darwin, don't you find it repulsive?"

Fiona sneered, "Is it, or do you actually think you're a big Casanova?"

"I have already explained the situation with Lilian to you!"

"Well, you find any excuse to spend the night with Lilian. Look at Dagmar and me, we follow the rules, just staying in the hospital, taking care of our friend involved in the accident. It serves us right that you suspect us of having an affair, that you disabled my hands, that you killed our child!"

Fiona said, reaching her breaking point. She forcefully pushed all the food from the small table onto the ground!

"Darwin, you disgust me. I don't want to see you. Go away! Just go!"

"Accident? Who had an accident?" Darwin pressed Fiona, his voice heavy.

Fiona stared at him resentfully, withholding a response as tears surged from her eyes.

Darwin's heart ached like a piercing dagger. He bowed his head and whispered a kiss on Fiona's eyes, "Fiona, I will make it up to you. Please don't hate me..."

"Darwin, do you remember what I told you last time? If you don't believe me, then I don't want you."

Darwin froze.

Fiona pushed him with force. "I don't want you anymore. Just leave, please!"

"You can't escape from me!" Darwin said in a low voice.

Just then, a nurse who came to change the medicine knocked on the door.

"Oh my, Mr. Solomon, what are you doing? Miss Woods can’t handle any more excitement right now!” The nurse hurriedly entered.

Darwin always cared about his image in front of others. He let go of Fiona, stood up, and left the hospital room. He sat outside the room. He dialed Ashton's number. There was a cold shutdown tone from the phone.

Suddenly, he thought of the friend involved in the accident that Fiona had just mentioned. He immediately called Liu and asked him to check if there were any accident patients at the Seventh Hospital yesterday. He found out that Ashton was one of them.

"I just asked the hospital. They said he only just came out of the critical period," Liu's assistant replied. "Mr. Solomon, do you need me to buy something to give her as a consolation?"

Darwin didn't say anything. Didn't Anniston say that Fiona and Dagmar were at the Seventh Hospital to protect the pregnancy?

Some uneasy emotions once again swirled in his mind. He took out Fiona's copied medical examination report. There didn't seem to be any problems.

Darwin furrowed his brow. How did things end up like this today when everything was fine?

"Mr. Solomon, your mother is here in the main hall downstairs," someone came to inform him.

Darwin glanced at the person. And then coldly instructed the security guard, "Keep an eye on the room."

"Yes, sir!"

Darwin then went downstairs. In the private hospital lobby, Anniston, Hathaway, and Jones were all there.

Darwin, upon seeing Hathaway and Jones, instinctively frowned.

"Darwin, what do you mean by 'your people'? Are we not allowed to go up? What's the matter? Is Fiona not fit to be seen?" Anniston stood up, asking arrogantly.

Darwin glanced at Hathaway. "Miss Ross didn't go back and instead got involved in the Solomon family's matters. Has she not had enough trouble?" Darwin asked coldly.

"You have no clue about good intentions!" Anniston frowned. "Hathaway isn't like Fiona. She genuinely cares for you and knows that Fiona is trying to deceive you. She's been so worried that she couldn't eat for days! Look at how thin she is now..."

"Mom, just get to the point," Darwin interrupted.

"I'm just asking, what are you planning to do about Fiona and that illegitimate child?" Anniston asked.

Darwin stared at her. Then, with a perplexed expression, he asked, "What illegitimate child?"

Anniston was stunned. "The wild seed in Fiona's belly!"

"Fiona is perfectly fine, she's not pregnant. Where did you come up with this wild rumor?" Darwin's face changed.

"I don't know where you got these things from. We just completed a comprehensive examination, and she's not pregnant, just like Dagmar. Clean and clear," Darwin replied coldly. "And you, where did you get this absurd false information?"

"Darwin, it's not false! I heard her admit it with my own ears!" Hathaway was also astonished.

Even if she was uncertain about whose child Fiona carried in her belly, she was certain that Fiona was indeed pregnant!
