Chapter 1035

The reporters, seeing their phones being taken back, hurriedly asked, "Who is this person?"

To have Fiona personally bring them in for questioning and to ask whether this person had appeared at the maternity care center where Thalassa was, the reporters, who had covered numerous infidelity scandals, seemed to sense something unusual. Bishop thought, 'Is there a third party involved?'

A scandal of infidelity during pregnancy was far more explosive than news of childbirth.

Fiona glanced across at them.

Their eyes sparkled with gossip, making others feel somewhat uncomfortable.

"In the North Alabama rich kids' circle, don't you know about such big news?" Stella asked in surprise.

The reporters all looked at Stella. "Miss White, you must be joking. We work in this field; how could we not know about the rich kids' circle? Please tell us; we promise not to spread it!"

"This woman is named Abigail Torres. She is considered a member of the Walker family, whose older generation accumulated considerable wealth, but they couldn't hide the family's extravagant lifestyle. To make money, Abigail falsely claimed she had channels to buy luxury goods and had been helping her classmates or friends purchase them. Recently, it was discovered that all the items she brought back were counterfeit!" Stella said.

"How much money are we talking about?" a reporter asked in shock.

"As far as I know, the most expensive watch was over two hundred thousand dollars," Stella said, holding up two fingers.

The reporters were shocked.

But the highly professional Bishop didn't get sidetracked by Stella and quickly asked, "Then why is Mrs. Solomon asking us if we've seen her around here?"

"That's even more infuriating!" Stella shook her head in disgust. "Didn't I just say that Abigail is a member of the Walker family? She thought the Walker family had a lot of wealth and wanted to ask them for help. She heard Thalassa was particularly kind and wanted to sneak into the maternity care center to ask her for a few hundred thousand dollars to pay off her debts!"

"Just casually asking for a few hundred thousand?" Bishop was utterly shocked. "Is she out of her mind?"

"Yes, Fiona just wants Thalassa to take good care of herself and not be disturbed. Knowing Abigail had this idea made her very angry, so she wanted to catch her and give her a good talking to!" Stella continued.

"Mrs. Solomon, rest assured, we'll keep an eye out for Abigail and notify you immediately if we see her!" Bishop said.

Fiona smiled gently. "Thank you so much. Abigail hasn't shown up these past few days, probably because she realized it was futile. You should go home soon. Mr. Walker has tightened security after discovering you were taking photos; you won't get anything."

She paused. "Of course, not getting anything is no big deal, just a waste of time. But if Mr. Walker catches you again, the outcome will be different."

Her expression was meaningful.

The three people across from her felt a chill down their spines.

"Alright, thank you for escorting our three friends out," Fiona said to the security.

The security immediately nodded and then watched the three get up.

"Mrs. Solomon, I've always supported you. When someone insulted you online before, I opened over a dozen Facebook accounts to argue with them!" Bishop said shyly as they reached the door.

"I hope Mr. Solomon recovers soon, and I wish you and the genius kids health and happiness!" after speaking, Bishop's face was red.

Before Fiona could respond, he covered his face and ran off.

Fiona remained silent.

Stella was momentarily bewildered, then lay on the sofa laughing.

After everyone had left, Stella finally stopped laughing.
