Chapter 836 I've Already Explained
Fiona showed the information to Darwin.
"You must have heard that Stella's reputation outside is very bad," Fiona said.
Darwin nodded.
"In fact, it's all fake," Fiona sighed and said, "It's her half-sister deliberately set her up out of jealousy. At the luncheon, that woman wanted to harm Stella but was caught by me and Alexander. When everyone confronted each other, Wyatt overheard."
Darwin understood. He said, "Wyatt has always believed those rumors."
Fiona nodded and said, "When things just broke out, it was the first time he and Stella broke up; he initiated it."
In the afternoon, Fiona probably asked Stella.
Even if she wanted to protect her sister, she could explain to Wyatt that it was all fake.
But Stella said, "I've already explained."
She said it calmly.
But Fiona fell silent immediately.
"He didn't believe it and initiated the breakup," she continued.
In just a few words, it was the truth of Wyatt and Stella's final separation.
"This must have hit him hard," Darwin said solemnly.
Fiona nodded. "That's why I had Mike keep an eye on him, to prevent any trouble."
Darwin remained silent. He hugged Fiona.
"Chicago said Thalassa also had a boyfriend she dated for several years before, who was a jerk," Darwin spoke.
Fiona smiled and said, "Your relationship with Chicago is really good now. Did she tell you everything?"
"Yeah." Darwin nodded.
"Fiona, thank you for not abandoning me." Darwin's tone carried a hint of grievance.
Fiona patted his back, saying, "Didn't we agree not to dwell on the past?"
Darwin mumbled a response.
"It's late, let's sleep!" Fiona lightly stroked his back again, saying, "I was thinking about whether to take you all to play around nearby for a few days before going back, but Wyatt doesn't seem right, so we'd better return soon."
Regardless of what happened between Wyatt and Stella, he saved Charles and Chicago; he was Fiona's benefactor.
Fiona didn't want anything to happen to Wyatt.
"Okay," Darwin said, worried about Wyatt's situation.
After discussing it, the two fell asleep in each other's arms.
The next day, Fiona went to have breakfast with Stella.
But Stella showed up almost lunchtime.
"You seem happy," Fiona remarked.
Stella coughed lightly, not as shy as last night.
She linked arms with Fiona, saying, "Are you going to leave tonight?"
"Yeah." Fiona nodded.
"Stay a few more days; let the Walker family help Darwin again!" Stella whispered.
"It's a coincidence; the Walker family from North Alabama invited a few experts to North Alabama next month, and Darwin and I will be there at that time," Fiona explained.
"Thalassa is due next month; she's the Walker family's daughter-in-law!" Stella realized.
Stella had heard of Thalassa before, but they hadn't been in touch until recently. Thanks to Fiona, they connected on Facebook.
Thalassa and Stella's souls really clicked. Their hobbies and interests were the same.
"Yeah," Fiona replied.
"Okay then," Stella hesitated and said, "Let's meet again when I go to Armie next time!"
"Sure," Fiona said, gently hugging her, "Don't let yourself be wronged again, okay?"
Stella's eyes welled up.
Then she immediately nodded, cheerfully saying, "I have someone to rely on now. Should you worry if I will be arrogant?"
Fiona wasn't worried about that.
If Stella were arrogant, she wouldn't have suffered so much.
"If you can't handle Rebecca's matter..." Fiona said.
She was afraid that Stella would still be soft-hearted and couldn't do it.
"Alexander took all the evidence over," Stella said.
Fiona realized and said, "I forgot, you said you have someone to rely on."
Stella smiled.
"Stella!" Chicago broke free from Darwin's side and ran over joyfully. "Why do you look even more beautiful today than yesterday?"
Stella immediately burst into laughter. She hugged Chicago, showering him with praise.
Alexander and Darwin were talking, glancing over, and their expressions tender to the extreme.
However, Preston, accompanied by several tall and serious-looking men, squatted next to Charles.
"Charles, do you think our system is difficult to build?" Preston asked.
They had approached several big companies, but they were either quoted exorbitant prices or the systems they built did not meet expectations, forcing them to compromise.
Preston had seen several tech elites chasing after Charles yesterday.
After inquiring, he found out that despite his young age, Charles was a very talented computer engineer.
After tossing and turning all night, Preston decided to swallow his pride and approach him directly.
Charles calmly reviewed all their requirements.
Actually, Preston just wanted to build a database related to medications and a database of symptoms corresponding to prescription drugs.
Although it sounded simple, it wasn't very easy to execute.
After reviewing all the requirements, Charles said calmly, "I'll try to have it ready during the holidays."
Preston was astonished that he hadn't even asked Charles for help!
"How can we... about the price..." Preston hesitated.
"I'll need your family's gentlemen to treat my father, and then it'll be free," Charles said.
Preston was surprised.
"Charles, rest assured, we'll make sure your father is healthy and long-lived!" a big man patted his chest, guaranteeing.
Charles hesitated for a moment. Then he nodded.
"After I set up the framework, we'll get in touch again." He returned the computer to Preston, then got up with his short legs and went to find his mother.
They looked at Charles's back, saying, "Look at this master's demeanor!"
"Indeed, he is so amazing; those we found before can't compare at all!"
The atmosphere was harmonious.
A servant hurriedly entered, saying, "Sir!"
The servant hesitated between Alexander and Stella, then ran towards Alexander.
"In such a rush, has something happened?" Preston asked.
The servant frowned, "Sir, Stella's father and brothers have come, clamoring to see her."
Alexander's initially gentle expression instantly turned cold.
"Dare they to come?" Preston stood up and said, "Alexander, Stella, don't worry, I'll handle them!"
"It's okay." Stella stood up and said, "I'm not afraid of them; if they come looking for trouble, why shouldn't I give them a piece of my mind?"
