Chapter 717 Move Away
Aura hid in the dark.
She clearly witnessed this scene.
From Aura's perspective, she could only see Harold's face, which was about to burst into laughter, but she couldn't see Fiona's angry and deadly gaze at Harold.
Aura also couldn't understand the words.
She didn't hear Fiona telling Harold not to touch her.
Aura only confirmed one thing.
Fiona was truly fickle, abandoning her lover in just a few months and finding another man while being so intimate with her new lover.
Aura became more convinced that Fiona was not worthy of Blaise.
And this only reinforced her determination not to let Blaise return to her, as this woman would surely hurt him!
With a spiteful glance at Fiona, Aura immediately turned around and walked away swiftly.
Just as she returned to the hotel, Gray informed her that Blaise had woken up.
Aura hurriedly went upstairs.
Cyrus had also just arrived and was talking to Blaise, "What about your memory? Have you remembered anything?"
"Cyrus!" Aura furrowed his brows.
What was Cyrus, this fool, bringing up the matter of memories for?
Soon after, Aura worriedly looked at Blaise.
When Cyrus brought him back, he had injuries all over his body, including his face.
Now that his wounds had healed, there was a scar left on the lower edge of his left cheek, which had faded recently and fortunately didn't affect his appearance much.
Blaise was still so handsome.
With a pale face, Blaise shook his head. "No."
Aura let out a sigh of relief. "If you can't remember, then forget about it. Your head hurts every time you try to think!"
Cyrus sat there without saying anything.
Was this fate?
He was destined to take Darwin away.
"Blaise, we've discussed it, and we've decided not to fight against the capitalists," Cyrus spoke, "We'll find a new place, open a hotel just like Father's, and start a new life as a family."
"Brother, why are you saying all this to Blaise now?" Aura was almost driven mad by her brother.
"That's fine." at this moment, Blaise nodded. "It's already dangerous to fight against them, so let's take the money and leave."
"Yeah!" Aura nodded vigorously. "Once we're off the island, we'll find a good hospital and have your leg surgery, so you won't need crutches anymore!"
"Okay." Blaise nodded again.
"Blaise, rest now. We'll bring you medicine and food later." Cyrus stood up and exchanged a glance with Aura. "You come downstairs with me. Stop making noise and disturb Blaise's rest!"
"OK." Aura then smiled brightly at Blaise.
When the siblings left, they gently closed the door.
The man leaned against the pillow, lowering his eyelids. His long eyelashes cast a faint shadow on his pale skin.
He lifted his gaze and stared out of the glass window, lost in thought for a long time.
Cyrus tightly held Aura's hand, taking large strides. Aura had to jog to keep up with him.
They arrived at a secluded place.
Aura was annoyed and forcefully pulled her hand away from Cyrus. "Cyrus, what are you doing?"
"Where did you go?" Cyrus asked.
"I just went for a walk!"
"You went to find Fiona again!" Cyrus shouted angrily.
Aura's face hardened. "Yes, I did! Not only did I go, but I also saw the man she was with! They were so close! She barely arrived, and he couldn't wait to follow her! When Blaise was in critical condition, she grew close to that man."
"That's enough!" Cyrus interrupted her. "In this world, women whose husbands have died can find other partners!"
"Why do you always defend her?" Aura noticed her brother's abnormal behavior. "Are you in love with her?"
The question struck Cyrus. His expression instantly changed.
"Don't talk nonsense. Anyway, I've already promised to move out within three days. I'll start packing tonight, and hopefully, I'll be gone the day after tomorrow."
Aura scowled. "I understand."
Meanwhile, at Fiona's place.
Burl was bold. He didn't even wait for nightfall and came up with an excuse to come over to Fiona's.
Burl was still at the dining table, enjoying his meal.
"I'm going to piece together the crab shells later and send pictures to Chicago!" Burl said confidently, eating while proudly looking at the intact crab shells he had peeled.
Fiona shook her head helplessly and had someone bring Burl another crab.
"You like eating seafood. Indulge yourself for these few days. We can never have too much seafood on the sea."
Burl nodded.
He glanced at Harold, who was elegantly eating crab leg pasta.
He looked unreliable!
Harold noticed Burl's gaze and gave him a friendly smile.
Burl snorted and continued eating in silence.
After dinner, Burl sneaked back to the team.
He also packed up a bunch of crab meat for Mike.
"Burl, you're the best!" Mike gave him a thumbs-up.
Then, they saw Fiona with the newcomer, Mr. Harold, heading their way.
Surprisingly, someone from the volunteers recognized Harold.
"Mr. Harold?" the person ran toward Harold. "Oh my god, it's really you! I am a loyal fan and love your designs. Can you give me an autograph?"
Harold had never encountered such a situation before.
Normally, he kept a low profile and rarely attended brand release events.
Harold signed the autograph.
Harold lowered his head and urged Fiona to hurry up.
Fiona smiled helplessly.
"I never thought Master Klein would be socially anxious, too," Fiona teased.
They reached a deserted place, and Harold let out a sigh of relief. "You can laugh at me."
Then he looked at the setting sun.
"The scenery on this island is truly beautiful. When the resort is completed, I will be the first to come and stay. Just lying down all day and watching the sunrise and sunset would be worth it."
"Darwin has a good taste," Fiona replied calmly.
Harold was slightly taken aback, and the smile on his face faded a bit.
"I thought you would never mention him in front of me."
"He is my lover; why wouldn't I mention him?" Fiona asked as a matter of fact.
The last hint of a smile disappeared from Harold's face.
He didn't respond to her comment.
He simply kicked the sand under his feet and continued walking ahead.
After walking for a while, they arrived at Aura's inn.
The inn's door was tightly closed.
"The architecture here is rather unique. Will they demolish it?" Harold asked.
Fiona shook her head. "We don't know yet. The design plan is just a rough draft."
As she said that, she also glanced at it.
"It does have its own charm. I will communicate with the designer then."
They continued walking and talking.
The setting sun cast long shadows on the two of them.
On the second floor of the inn, a man stood by the window, his telescope somehow missing.
