Chapter 1113

"Mr. Solomon, what should we do about those three?" Henry asked, his voice low and serious.

Yesterday, Darwin noticed something off with some meeting documents.

Henry checked and found it wasn't just Darwin's papers; even the project proposal for the shareholders was messed up.

At first, he thought Bella had printed the wrong documents and gave her a harsh scolding.

Darwin didn't say much, just told him to swap the documents for the right ones.

At the shareholders' meeting, when those three started questioning Darwin, Henry realized it wasn't Bella's mistake; it was a trap set for Darwin's return after more than six months.

Henry was instantly on high alert.

It was hard to imagine how badly those three would have attacked Darwin if the documents hadn't been corrected.

Every year, Darwin handled countless contracts. Even without his memory loss, he wouldn't remember every voided contract clearly, especially now with his amnesia.

If there was even a slight mix-up, the shareholders would pounce, and Darwin might fail in his comeback.

"They wouldn't dare oppose me without a reason," Darwin said slowly, eating the lunch Fiona had prepared, but his tone was icy. "And that medical report..."

"I've never seen it before!" Henry frowned deeply.

When Darwin was in the hospital, Henry was there almost every day.

He'd seen some reports, but never this diagnosis.

"Could it be someone close to Mr. Solomon, working with outsiders?" Timothy, loyal to Darwin, hesitated before speaking.

Darwin's fork paused mid-air.

He looked up at Timothy. "Someone close to me? Who do you think it is?"

Timothy's heart raced as he met Darwin's intense gaze, and he quickly looked down. "I don't have anyone specific in mind, but such a private document could only be obtained by someone close to you, Mr. Solomon."

Darwin looked away.

He didn't push the topic further. "Go have lunch. No need to guess how they got the medical report. We'll ask directly after the shareholders' meeting."

"Yes!" Henry and the others left the CEO's office.

Their working lunch was already in Henry's office.

After entering, he closed the door.

"Timothy, were you suspecting Mrs. Solomon just now?" They'd been partners for years, so Henry got straight to the point.

"Henry, I know you've worked with Mrs. Solomon for years and trust her deeply, but people can be unpredictable. I just can't believe that with such a large conglomerate about to fall into her hands, she would willingly hand it over!" Timothy said bluntly.

Another colleague, Ivan, chimed in, "Henry, don't trust people too much."

"I don't need to explain myself to you. Just wait and see. If this has anything to do with Mrs. Solomon, I'll treat you to dinner!" Henry waved his hand dismissively.

He sat down and started eating lunch with confidence.

The other two exchanged glances, said nothing more, and sat down to eat in silence.

Fiona, who was highly suspected, felt nothing.

After finishing her call with Darwin, she knocked on the door of the private room.

"Come in." A gentle voice came from inside.

Fiona pushed the door open and entered. "Sorry, I'm late."

In fact, it wasn't even the appointed time yet; she hadn't expected Hubert to arrive so early.

Upon entering, Fiona looked up and saw Hubert, who appeared as gentle as ever.
