Chapter 845 Make Her Divorce
Stella never expected Alexander to say that.
Her nose suddenly tingled, tears welling up at the edge of her eyes.
Ignoring the few people behind her who were eagerly watching, she hugged Alexander tightly. And said, "No, I'm stingy. He's no longer in my heart; there's only you in there."
Alexander chuckled softly. His chin rested on her head for a moment; then he patted her back.
He said, "We might miss the great animal migration in Arcadia Valley on our way back. You have to promise me you'll come with me next year."
It was actually her who had just mentioned going there.
Alexander was really...
Stella nodded repeatedly. "Not only the great animal migration in Arcadia Valley, I'll travel the world with you too!"
"Good." Alexander, like coaxing a child, gently patted Stella's back.
They quickly finished their lunch.
When Alexander went to pay, he also paid for the bill of the girls at Armie's table, who had been shocked the whole time. He even added an extra, the restaurant's signature dessert. Because it was expensive, the girls at the table hesitated to order.
When the dessert arrived, they found out that Alexander not only paid for their table but also sent such a large cake. They were all shocked.
"Did you guys take a photo just now?" one of the girls with bangs asked.
The other four girls were surprised, "Didn't you take one?"
"I thought you did!" They all said in unison.
"They hugged for so long!"
"Where's the GoPro for the vlog?" They searched around.
After reviewing the footage, they felt defeated.
Except when they were walking towards the restaurant, passing by Stella and Alexander, the camera briefly caught them.
After they sat down, the camera was facing the bar counter on the other side of the restaurant.
It didn't capture Stella and Alexander at all.
"Did we miss a potential news scoop?" the girl with bangs lamented. Then she took a big bite of the dessert and said, "So delicious!"
The others, while lamenting missing such a potentially viral news scoop, enjoyed the cake.
"By the way, did you hear them say they were going to the airport just now? Miss White wouldn't be going back for the scumbag, would she? Is her husband willing?"
"After all, it's a matter of life. Didn't she say on her Facebook that the tycoon is a very kind person? Maybe their past isn't as scandalous as everyone thinks?"
"Speaking of which..." the girl with bangs swallowed a bite of cake and said, "Miss White's husband is so handsome! Like my BJD doll!"
"And there's something about him; how should I put it? A sense of holiness? Just looking at him gives off a feeling of reverence!"
"Have you not heard the gossip?"
"What gossip?"
"Miss White's new husband used to be a priest, and he had vowed never to marry in this lifetime. Later, because of his love for Miss White at first sight, he broke his promise, and he waited for Miss White for over a decade."
"Is it true? If it's true, I'm going to enjoy their love story even more!"
"Even if it's not true, it doesn't matter. I'll start the rumor as true, then continue to enjoy it!"
Their conversation became more and more lively.
In the end, they discussed whether to post today's material.
"They paid for everything, even treated us to cake. Let's wait. If there are any developments, we can post about our encounter with them!"
They quickly reached an agreement and then happily continued their journey.
Stella quickly bought a new phone and used a temporary SIM card to contact Fiona.
She was so anxious to go back because she was worried about Wyatt. If something happened to him, Fiona would be there.
As soon as Fiona saw the location of the unknown number, she answered immediately.
"Fiona,this is Stella!" Stella said.
Fiona said, "I know."
"Is Wyatt critically ill?" Stella asked directly.
"Yes!" Fiona didn't ask how she knew, they would have a chance to talk when she returned.
"Did he attempt suicide by taking pills?" Stella asked in a low voice.
"No, he suddenly collapsed at home, and after being taken to the hospital, multiple organ failure was discovered. It's been almost three days, and he still hasn't woken up," Fiona replied truthfully.
"Alright, Alexander and I bought evening flight tickets, and we'll land in Bay City tomorrow."
"Okay, send me the flight number."
They didn't need to say anything else; they both understood each other's actions.
After hanging up, Emma looked at Fiona expectantly and asked, "Is that Stella?"
"Yes, she and Alexander are on their way to the airport, and they'll arrive in Bay City tomorrow," Fiona replied.
"Is Alexander coming too?" Emma instinctively frowned. "Won't that upset Wyatt even more?"
Fiona was truly speechless.
"Ms. Durham, Stella is married. Alexander agreed to cut short their honeymoon and come back to see Wyatt. That's already very generous. What else do you want?" Fiona said without holding back.
Emma lowered her head and remained silent.
In her heart, however, she thought that as long as Stella came back, everything would be fine. She would talk to Stella and support her in getting a divorce; she was willing to do anything for her!
When it was time for them to visit, Emma naturally wanted to go in alone and tell Wyatt about Stella's intentions. But Ryan stopped her.
"Wyatt wouldn't want to hear Stella's name from you," Ryan said bluntly.
Emma was instantly stunned. She sat back down dejectedly.
In the end, it was Fiona who entered the ward.
She sat beside Wyatt and said, "Wyatt..."
The words were on the tip of her tongue, but Fiona didn't say them. She just said softly, "Stella knows you're seriously ill and is on her way here. Don't worry her too much; try to cheer up."
With that, she saw tears rolled from the corner of his eyes. Then, Fiona left the room.
Emma took Fiona's hand gratefully.
"Ms. Durham, just the fact that you scolded Stella twice, and she could have refused to come to see Wyatt." Fiona looked at Emma. "When she arrives tomorrow, I hope you won't say too much or disturb her."
Emma's expression stiffened slightly. But she nodded and said, "I understand; I know she's doing well!"
Fiona nodded. She checked the time and said, "Darwin has rehab today; I should go back."
"Thank you," Ryan said sincerely.
Fiona nodded slightly.
She didn't say many polite words. She left the hospital and headed straight to Emerald Pool.
Around the same time, Stella and Alexander boarded a small plane out of the jungle. They flew to the nearest international airport.
Four hours later, Stella and Alexander boarded a plane to Bay City in Armie.
As the plane took off, the sky was filled with colorful clouds.
Stella looked out the window.
It felt like a dream.
