Chapter 771 Live Streaming to Find a Child?

The headmaster's words had just fallen. He instinctively looked into the car and saw Darwin sitting inside.

The headmaster usually didn't pay attention to gossip, but Darwin's situation had become too big to ignore, especially since he was a student at the school. So, even without actively seeking information, the headmaster knew the gist of it.

"Mr. Solomon Jr.?" the headmaster exclaimed, his gaze scanning Darwin from head to toe.

Darwin smiled politely and distantly. Then, he looked at Fiona.

"You heard what the headmaster just said. Do you want to go and see?" Fiona asked with a gentle smile.

Darwin thought for a moment and nodded.

The headmaster snapped back to reality, clapping his hands in delight. "Great, great!"

A moment later, Darwin and Fiona's car entered the campus through another garage door. Once parked, Fiona promptly helped Darwin out of the car.

The headmaster's jubilant mood dampened by half as he watched Darwin, who was using a cane.

How could Darwin have come out of such a big accident unscathed, with just a few scars?

The headmaster quickly adjusted his mood. "There it is. Doesn't it look very similar to the drawing that Chicago made for us?"

Darwin couldn't recall seeing such a drawing before. Fiona instinctively reached for her phone and pulled up a photo, presenting it to Darwin.

As Darwin studied the image, comparing the sketch to the actual completed main building, he found himself holding the hands of the depicted figures in the drawing.

"It's remarkably faithful," Darwin remarked. "You've put in quite the effort."

"I didn't work hard at all. From the design team to the construction team, you were the one who arranged everything thoughtfully," the headmaster said with a smile.

If it weren't for Darwin's arrangements, how could such a beautiful building be completed so quickly?

Then, the headmaster enthusiastically took Darwin and Fiona inside for a tour. Only the main structure was completed, and the decoration was still in progress.

"We plan to use this wall to display various paintings made by the children!" the headmaster exclaimed, his eyes bright with excitement.

"This area will be used for art supplies and tools!" he continued, gesturing toward the designated space.

"Here is a multimedia audio-visual room, where we plan to play documentaries about the world's great painters!" the headmaster added enthusiastically, his passion for the project evident in his voice.

The headmaster was very enthusiastic. He carefully explained to Darwin and Fiona what each space was for, his dedication to the school's vision shining through his words.

"According to your wishes, the room at the end is the art studio for the kids!" the headmaster announced, finally pointing towards a small room with a garden view as he addressed Darwin.

"Great," Darwin responded with a nod.

Darwin was always a man of few words, so the headmaster didn't notice anything amiss.

"With your love for the school, I believe that in the near future, our school will not only be able to produce academically excellent children but also budding artists!" the headmaster said emotionally.

"In any case, if there is anything you need help with, please speak up as soon as possible," Fiona said gently.

"For the children's development, I will definitely be shameless!" the headmaster said with a red face. "Oh, by the way, Ethan participated in a competition in Country Y a while ago, and the results are out. Ethan won first prize! He received a $20,000 prize!"

"He told me," Fiona replied with a smile. "I told you before, you don't need to worry too much about Ethan. He knows exactly where his future lies, and he is determined to go in that direction."

After Darwin's accident, Ethan didn't reach out to Fiona very often. However, whenever he excelled in an exam or received an award, he made sure to inform Fiona first. Fiona likely sensed his intention—to bring her joy.

"I just hope this kid can make something of himself and break free from the pain his family has caused him," Fiona expressed, her words tinged with a mix of hope and determination.
Darwin didn't know who Ethan was so he just listened quietly.

At that moment, Fiona's phone rang. She looked at the caller ID, it was Thalassa. Looking at the time, it was indeed Thalassa's usual wake-up time.

She gestured to the headmaster, released Darwin's hand, and stepped aside to take the call. "Looking for someone as soon as you wake up, Thalassa, you're getting clingier and clingier, aren't you?" Fiona teased.

"Fiona, Mr. Soloman Sr. is live streaming and he is at the police station!" Thalassa exclaimed urgently.

Fiona's smile slowly faded as she processed the news.

Thalassa was furious on the other end. "He found the netizens' analysis very reasonable and was very worried about his son's current situation, so he went to the police and demanded to see Darwin today!"

"High-resolution front-facing photos have been taken. Is Mr. Solomon Sr. out of his mind, making it like this?" Fiona faintly heard Kenny soothing Thalassa on the other end.

"Thalassa, it's okay," Fiona reassured softly. "I know how to handle it."

"Have you sent Charles and Chicago off? When are you coming back?" Thalassa, calmed down by Fiona, asked with less anger and more concern.

Fiona replied, "Darwin has built an art center for Chicago's school, and we are looking at it. We'll be back after we finish. Is there anything you want to eat? I'll buy it for you on the way."

"I can't eat anything," Thalassa muttered. "I'm so anxious!"

"Well, on the way back, do you want to eat durian pastry and yogurt with fruit skin?" Fiona suggested.

There was a moment of silence, and then Fiona heard Thalassa mutter, "Yes!"

Fiona immediately smiled. "Okay, I'll bring it back for you," she promised before hanging up the phone. Meeting Darwin's worried gaze, Fiona walked over and took his hand once more. With a reassuring gesture, she gently rubbed Darwin's hand back twice with her thumb.

She then turned to the headmaster and said, "Principal, we have something to attend to at home, so we have to go back."

"Okay!" The headmaster nodded happily. "Oh, I forgot to praise Chicago. She has made great progress this semester. I feel that by the end of the semester, Chicago will be able to compete for the top ten in the grade!"

"She promised her father last year that she would come back with a first place in the grade, so she is working hard for it now," Fiona said, and she looked at Darwin with a smile in her eyes.

"Dad, you deserve the credit." The headmaster laughed heartily, though there was a tinge of bitterness in his heart.

Reflecting on Chicago's mood this semester, studying hard with great effort, he couldn't help but feel grateful. Thank God, it hadn't let the child lose her father!

As they bid farewell to the headmaster, the car slowly drove out of the school grounds.

"What did Thalassa say on the phone?" Darwin inquired anxiously.

Fiona gently stroked his hand in reassurance before replying, "Darwin, your father has been insisting on seeing you, and he's even gone to the police station now."

Darwin almost instinctively frowned in disgust. "Is he still here for the inheritance?"

With a calm smile, Fiona responded, "According to him, he's very worried about you and suspects that I killed you for money." "
