Chapter 1112

Right after accepting the friend request, the other person sent over the medical case images.

Zachary quickly gathered the other two and explained the situation.

One was shocked, and the other lost it.

"I was just messing around, didn't make a dime, and now we've pissed off Darwin!" Elijah, the guy who was crying, was falling apart.

"Deleting me won't help. I have chat logs and audio recordings. If Fiona ditches us, I'll take her down with me!" Zachary said, gripping his phone tightly.

He didn't respond to the other party right away.

After confirming Darwin had lost his memory and had a complete personality change, he chose to side with Fiona.

Darwin was injured and amnesiac.

But Fiona was on the rise. Her skills over the past few months were clear to everyone, and she had the powerful Rhoads Group backing her.

Even though Darwin still had influence within the Solomons, it was uncertain how long that would last.

In this situation, the choice seemed obvious.

But he never expected that at today's shareholders' meeting, he wouldn't see Darwin's helplessness.

Instead, he felt an unprecedented sense of unease.

"No, I need to turn myself in before Darwin comes after me! Prison is safe!" Elijah said, getting up and running out.

Zachary cursed and pulled him back. "What are you doing? Things are still uncertain, and you're in a rush to expose yourself?"

The three of them were in the same boat now.

Elijah wanted to expose himself, but Zachary didn't.

No one knew what might happen next!

He had already decided to inform Darwin about Fiona's actions.

He'd say he was forced into it.

Maybe there was still a chance for redemption!

Fiona had no idea what was happening at the company.

She arrived at the vegetarian restaurant she had arranged with Hubert.

The restaurant had a pleasant fragrance and was very serene.

As the waiter led Fiona to the private room, Darwin's call came through.

Fiona answered with a gentle smile, "Are you on a break?"

"Yeah," Darwin replied, "I just got to the office and saw the lunch you sent over. It's quite a feast."

"Am I thoughtful?" Fiona asked with a smile.

"There's no one more thoughtful than you, honey," Darwin responded, "Have you arrived at the restaurant?"

"Yeah, I'm here." Fiona arrived at the private room door and signaled to the waiter that she could go about her business.

"Then make sure to entertain your guest well," Darwin said warmly.

"Okay, do you need me to pick you up after work this afternoon?" she asked.

"Honey, if you have time and aren't too tired..." Darwin said.

Fiona laughed. "Got it. You have your lunch well, I'm going into the private room now."

"Alright." Darwin nodded.

The call ended.

The warmth on his face slowly faded.

Several VPs stood across from him.

Without lifting his eyelids, he picked up a fork and began to eat leisurely.
