Chapter 68 I don't Share my Man with Anyone

After Janna bounced, Fiona shot a look at the Solomon crew.

"Since we got those two kids on tape, finding them's gonna be a breeze," she said, ice-cold. "Mr. Solomon's gonna dig up the truth, no matter how long it takes. So whoever did this, why not just fess up now and save us all some hassle?"

Hestia saw Fiona's smug face and her blood boiled.

She didn't even care that Darwin was right there and started ripping into Fiona, "Fiona, who do you think you are, bossing around the Solomon family? You're just a piece of trash..."

She didn't even get to the really nasty stuff before a death glare shut her up.

Hestia looked at Darwin. "Darwin, you've really spoiled her rotten. She actually dares to pressure her elders..."

Her voice trailed off.

"I've been too lenient," Darwin finally said.

Fiona was taken aback, her nails digging into her palm.

Darwin was still siding with the Solomons, after all.

"Exactly!" Hestia, who had been a bit scared, perked up. "How could she be so arrogant!"

"I was talking about you," Darwin's voice was ice.

Hestia's smile froze.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"From now on, the Solomon Group and the Atlas Group are cutting all ties with your husband and son. They can forget about getting any contracts from us," Darwin said slowly.

Hestia was floored.

"No, this can't be! Darwin, we're family!"

"I warned you to show Fiona some respect. You didn't listen, and now you're paying for it."

Fiona's heart skipped a beat.

An indescribable feeling washed over her.

"Anniston, say something!" Hestia was desperate, tears streaming down her face.

Cursing herself for her big mouth, she thought, 'Why did I say those things?'

Anniston looked like she'd seen a ghost.

She could barely keep herself together.

Seeing Anniston stay silent, Hestia turned to Fiona, pleading.

Then she rushed over. "Ms. Woods, I spoke without thinking. Please, talk to Darwin. If we lose the business, my husband will kill me!"

Darwin frowned, pulling Fiona close by her waist.

Hathaway walked in and saw the scene.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Ms. Ross!" Hestia ran to Hathaway. "Ms. Woods was disrespectful to her elders, so I lectured her. Now Mr. Solomon wants to cut off all ties with our family! Please, help me talk to him!"

Fiona was getting fed up.

"So, anyone gonna confess now?" she asked.

Hestia's crying stopped cold.

"If not, I'm calling the cops!" Fiona continued.

"Call the cops?" Anniston was stunned. "You want the Solomon family to be dragged through the mud?"

"Do we have another choice?" Fiona shot back. "I think the person who planned this is a vile, disgusting creature. If they can't stand me, come at me directly! Targeting the elderly, they're worse than a beast!"

Anniston's face went ghostly white.

She was a high-society lady who married into another big-shot family early on. No one had ever dared to talk about her like this!

"You..." Anniston pointed at Fiona, her hand shaking.

"Alright, enough! Is anyone gonna fess up?" Fiona's voice got louder.

"Ms. Woods, calm down. I know you've been wronged. ,Since nothing serious has happened to Mrs. Solomon, maybe we could..." Hathaway frowned, looking all conflicted.

"You weren't the one wronged or almost hurt. So, don't give me any 'maybes'." Fiona didn't even glance at Hathaway.

Hathaway's eyes welled up with tears.

She instinctively looked at Darwin.

Darwin was stone-cold, showing no signs of stopping Fiona.

Hathaway bit her lip.

Darwin was sharp. By now, he had to know his mom was behind this whole mess.

How could he be so chill about it?

Was Fiona really that big of a deal?

But from what she knew, Darwin treated Fiona like dirt, calling her over and dismissing her whenever he felt like it.

What had changed?

Seeing this, Anniston knew Fiona wasn't gonna let this slide.

She never thought the usually meek Fiona would be such a hard nut to crack.

She glanced at the woman next to her.

The woman was shaking like a leaf.

Her face was ghostly pale.

After a moment, she raised her trembling hand. "It was me."

Everyone was stunned.

Hestia pounced on the opportunity. "So it was you? You've caused so much trouble! If it weren't for the misunderstanding, I wouldn't have gone after her like this! You vicious woman!"

"Very good." Fiona smirked.

Anniston had been a big shot for years; she probably didn't do this herself.

No wonder she brought this random woman along, she needed a scapegoat.

"Mr. Solomon, I've proven I was wronged. The rest is your family's mess, deal with it yourself," Fiona said to Darwin, "I'm outta here."

Fiona knew when it came to being ruthless, she couldn't hold a candle to Darwin.

Even if it was just to set an example, he wouldn't go easy on that woman.

As for Anniston, Fiona had completely wrecked her plan this time.

That might sting more than anything else.

Fiona headed to the garage.

Before she got in the car, someone called out to her from behind.

Fiona turned around.

She saw Hathaway standing a few steps away.

"What's up?" Fiona asked, her tone way less friendly than at the airport.

Hathaway gave a slight smile. "Ms. Woods, Darwin told me about your relationship with him."

Fiona frowned. "So what?"

Hathaway added, "Don't worry, I'm not petty. From now on, we'll take good care of Darwin together."

Fiona stiffened.

Her stomach churned.

She couldn't hold it in and gagged.

"Sorry." Fiona clutched her chest. "That kind of talk makes me sick. I don't care if you're sincere or testing me, here's the deal: I don't share my man with anyone. It's too gross."
