Chapter 1356

"Mrs. Solomon, Happy New Year!" Wyatt burst through the door with a big grin.

Fiona looked up and said, "You're a bit early; we still have two days left."

Over the past few months, Wyatt had become a big name in the Armie business scene.

Not only did he turn the Durham Group around, but he also used the crisis to revamp the company, getting rid of all its old problems.

Plus, he made good use of his connections.

He managed to snag some top-tier talent from all over the world for the Durham Group, and they signed five-year contracts.

Henry was pretty jealous when he heard about it.

"Well, I've been swamped, and this is the only time I could swing by," Wyatt said, placing an orange bag on Fiona's desk. "New Year's gift."

Fiona eyed the Hermès logo. "You wouldn't come without a reason, Mr. Durham. Spill it."

"Always straight to the point!" Wyatt sat down.

He seemed to have regained his carefree vibe, like he hadn't just gone through months of intense struggles.

Wyatt said, "I heard you have Burl and the Walker family working on chip development?"

"Yep, Mr. Durham. What's on your mind?" Fiona leaned back in her chair.

Wyatt grinned. "I'm really interested in this. How about we talk collaboration?"

"What kind of collaboration?" Fiona asked.

"I won't mess with your development process. Once your chips are ready, I want an exclusive deal with the Durham Group," Wyatt said, sliding a proposal over to Fiona.

Fiona raised an eyebrow. "Are you planning to get into mobile communications?"

"Not exactly. It's about smart devices overall," Wyatt said with a sly smile. "I'm aiming for something that blows everything else out of the water, so I need the best and most precise chips. Wanna join me in pioneering a new era of smart tech?"

Even though he still had that cunning smile, Fiona could tell Wyatt was a whole new person.

"Sounds awesome. This digital life concept is pretty intriguing," Fiona said, flipping through the proposal.

Wyatt replied, "This will be the flagship product of my smart tech era. When it meshes perfectly with your Solomon Group's AI, we'll be rolling in dough!"

Fiona smiled and nodded.

"Are you sticking around Bay City for a while?" she asked.

"If you need me, I'll be here!" Wyatt said smoothly.

"I'll have Kenny and Burl come back tomorrow. They know more about the tech stuff than I do. You'll need to hash out the details with them," Fiona said, closing the proposal without any intention of giving it back to Wyatt.

Wyatt didn't mind.

He asked, "In that case, can Charles join us too?"

Fiona thought for a moment. "He's about to compete, and finals are coming up. I'll ask him at home. This—"

She held up the proposal. "Mind if I take this home for him to check out?"

Wyatt responded, "Of course not. If he can give me some feedback, that'd be awesome!"

Then, as if he remembered something, Wyatt added, "You should also talk about the digital life concept with Chicago!"

"Why?" Fiona asked, puzzled.

Wyatt replied, "She's an artist with a unique take on visuals and lighting. Just talk to her. Don't worry, I won't ask for free feedback. If their suggestions are good, I'll give them shares and annual dividends!"

Fiona laughed.

Then she nodded. "I don't feel like explaining it all. Let's go to Emerald Pool for dinner. My grandmother's been asking about you. She'd love to see how the rising business star is doing."
