Chapter 928

"Brilliant!" Stella gave a thumbs up.

Then she looked at the distant night sky and sighed.

"What's wrong?" Fiona asked.

"I feel like Alexander hasn't been happy since coming back from the church." Stella muttered, "Do you think there's anything I can do to make Father Ben forgive him?"

"You guys go a few more times; time will heal everything," Fiona said gently.

Stella took a deep breath.

After eating and drinking, she didn't dare to go back, afraid that Alexander would find out she had been eating and drinking recklessly. So she just stayed at Thalassa's place.

When both Thalassa and Stella fell asleep, Fiona quietly got up and went outside the ward.

Christopher and Mike were both outside.

"Ms. Woods, why did you call us here so late? Is there something wrong with Thalassa?" Mike asked cautiously.

Fiona pursed her lips. "Do you remember the one who threw her shoe at Thalassa?"

Mike's face fell. "Ms. Woods, my memory isn't that bad!"

"Well." Fiona nodded. "She's missing."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Mike blurted out.

"Death can bring peace of mind, but disappearance is different." Fiona raised her eyes, scanning Christopher and Mike.

Christopher reacted faster than Mike. He said, "Are you worried that she's just hiding and will harm Ms. Carey in the future?"

Thalassa was also very good to Charlotte.

When Thalassa bought things for Chicago and Charles, she always remembered to buy something of equal value for Charlotte.

Every time there was an exam, before Christopher even knew Charlotte's grades, Thalassa did, and then she rewarded her with gifts every time.

Now Charlotte had several beautiful dresses, all bought by Thalassa.

Although Charlotte didn't wear them much, every time she did, Christopher was moved to tears.

So even though Thalassa wasn't his boss, Christopher was willing to protect her.

"Just in case." Fiona said, "I know the Walker family has arranged security, but they are all in the open. I need you to protect Thalassa in the shadows; don't let anyone with ill intentions get close to her and the baby about to be born."

"Understood!" Christopher and Mike immediately said, "Charlotte said that when the baby is born, she'll come to the hospital to watch over it."

Fiona was stunned for a moment.

Then she smiled helplessly. "Christopher, I ask you to guide Charlotte that she doesn't need to protect any child; she just needs to grow up happily, right?"

Christopher was even more helpless, saying, "I can't reason with Charlotte; what can I do?"

He even felt that it was natural that Charlotte protected Chicago, Charles, and the soon-to-be-born baby.

Charlotte had the ability and the skill for it.

Fiona waved her hand helplessly and said, "You guys go and arrange it!"

"Yes!" Christopher and Mike then left straight away.

Fiona stood at the door of the ward.

The hospital's air conditioning was on full blast; she adjusted her knitted coat.

Then she turned and went back into the ward.

Outside the hospital, as the night grew later, the lights gradually dimmed

.

Outside the walls, under the dim streetlights, a woman wearing a duckbill cap and a mask, dressed in black, looked towards the direction of the VIP ward.
