Chapter 803 Getting Married

Fiona stood still, dumbfounded.

She thought, 'Is Stella getting married?'

Darwin heard the sound of the car and took the elevator out.

As soon as he came out, he saw Fiona's surprised expression.

Darwin furrowed his brows slightly and approached.

Fiona reached out and held his hand, then asked Stella, "Who's the groom..."

"Someone you don't know, a very good person," Stella replied, lacking her usual enthusiasm and liveliness, her tone much gentler.

Fiona fell silent for a moment. "Does Wyatt know?"

"Don't mention him; it's annoying." Stella changed the subject: "By the way, I still need a flower girl. Can you lend me your daughter Chicago?"

"I'll ask her," Fiona replied.

"Okay. I'll wait for your good news." Fiona exchanged a few more words with Stella, and Stella had to inform others, so she hung up.

"Whose call?" Darwin asked.

Fiona pursed her lips and said, "You don't need to persuade Wyatt to let go. Stella is marrying someone else."

Wyatt left Emerald Pool. He became increasingly restless.

Recently, after Wyatt returned from the construction site, he met many people who knew about his past with Stella.

He would unconsciously mention Stella every time.

But Stella's reputation in the circle was not very good. Everyone advised him to let go, listen to his parents, and marry a girl from a similar background.

Only Darwin was different because he had no memory of the past.

He wouldn't judge the situation based on Stella's reputation.

Ironically, Wyatt found Darwin's words quite piercing.

Back home, after Wyatt took a shower and came out, he picked up his phone and called Stella again.

Stella's phone was still unreachable.

In fact, this situation was quite common.

Over the past decade, they had always been like this. The longest they went without talking was over a year.

Wyatt thought, as with every other time, Stella would come back once her anger subsided.

After Wyatt and Darwin's conversation, Wyatt made up his mind.

This time, when Stella returned, Wyatt was determined to marry her, regardless of any objections.

If his parents and family didn't approve, he wouldn't even let them meet Stella.

Over time, his parents and family would eventually leave him. But a partner was for life.

Wyatt didn't care about social status; he wanted to grow old with the one he loved.

Thinking this, a heavy burden lifted from Wyatt's heart.

He felt ecstatic, crossed his legs, sat on the couch, and looked through his past conversations with Stella.

When he learned Stella disliked the decor in his place, finding it unromantic, Wyatt slapped his forehead.

Since they were getting married, they needed to prepare a new home immediately.

He contacted his asset manager for addresses of prime location houses.

Upon reviewing them, he found none to his satisfaction.

Suddenly, he remembered that Stella always liked Fiona.

"Emerald Pool!" Wyatt muttered.

Wyatt clapped his hands and immediately instructed his asset manager to sell two houses and find a way to purchase one at Emerald Pool.

After completing these tasks, he thought for a moment and called Fiona. Fiona was on a date with Darwin.

Seeing Wyatt's call, she thought he already knew about the situation.

"Why is he calling me when his ex is getting married?" Fiona muttered but still answered the call.

Before she could speak, she heard Wyatt's excited voice. "Fiona, please help me find out who designed the interiors of your Emerald Pool house. Send me the contact details."

Fiona was taken aback. "Are you redecorating?"

"Yes, for the wedding!" Wyatt was quite proud.

"Are you getting married too?" Fiona was shocked.

Darwin, next to her, was also surprised, eating his popcorn seriously, his expression equally astonished.

"Too? Who else is getting married?" Wyatt asked with a smile.

Fiona didn't answer and continued. "Who are you with? A blind date?"

"Of course not. Who else could it be but Stella?" Wyatt was in a great mood. "Darwin woke me up."

Fiona fell silent. She thought, ' You may have finally figured it out, but Stella was marrying someone else!'

"Hello?" Not hearing any response from the other end, Wyatt thought the signal could have been better.

"I'm listening. I will inquire around for you." Fiona paused and said, "Wyatt, does Stella know about your plan to marry her?"

"She's not answering my calls, and she's even blocked me on Facebook. She doesn't know." Wyatt signed.

Fiona was speechless. "Wyatt, you didn't even ask if she's willing. Did you just decide on your own? Stella is upset, and don't you try to find her? Don't you try to apologize?"

Wyatt was Charles and Chicago's savior.

Fiona also hoped for a good outcome for Wyatt.

"Why are you so harsh?" Wyatt was a bit puzzled. "You may not understand, but it's always been like this between us. She'll calm down."

"But what if, this time, she doesn't calm down?" Fiona asked.

"Why are you talking so strangely? Did she contact you?" Wyatt finally became alert.

"Wyatt, no one in this world will wait forever for someone." Fiona said solemnly, "Don't be too confident in yourself. Stella is an insecure person; she needs firm choices and firm love, not a partner who always waits for her to come back after she calms down."

"Did Stella tell you this?" Wyatt fell silent for a moment and asked.

Fiona sighed and said, "She never speaks these words, Wyatt. I've met her only a few times, but I can see her hollow and empty heart. You're her lover. How can you not notice?"

Fiona suddenly remembered a saying: He loved her, but he didn't understand her fragile soul.

"What's wrong with her?" Wyatt started to panic.

Fiona wasn't the type to meddle or judge in others' relationships.

"Wyatt, it's simple to find out how she's doing. Go and find out. I have a date with Darwin. I have to go." Without waiting for Wyatt to respond, Fiona hung up.

"Don't be angry." Darwin squeezed her hand.

"I'm not angry." Fiona shook her head and said, "When I first met Stella, her family had arranged a marriage for her. Although the man wasn't from a wealthy family, he was quite decent. Stella rejected him without hesitation, causing a rift with her family. Stella didn't say it, but anyone could see that she rejected him because of Wyatt." "
