Chapter 666 Escape

Annie was greatly frightened by Crimson's actions.

Annie immediately panicked and repeatedly shocked Crimson with electricity.

Fiona was unsure whether Crimson had been electrocuted to death or not, but she could smell the scent of burnt flesh.

After Annie finished electrocuting Crimson, she looked at Fiona and asked, "What should we do now?"

"Are there still people from their group here?" Fiona asked.

Annie shook her head and replied, "This place belongs to you and Darwin. Robert and I both think that having too many people will only raise suspicion. That's why only Crimson and I brought you out."

"Do you still want to kill me?" Fiona asked directly.

Annie looked at her with furrowed brows and trembling lips.

"Of course, I want to kill you. Hathaway was killed because of you!" Annie gritted her teeth and said, "Do you know? I have so many siblings in the big Ross family, but only Hathaway truly cared for me. When Hathaway was young, she would kneel in our father's study all day and night, begging for his forgiveness for me. She would save up her two-year allowance to buy me the pen I liked..."

Annie held her head in agony.

"After my fiance died in a car accident, everyone in the family only pitied me for not having a suitable marriage partner. My father immediately started looking for a new match for me. No one thought I would be sad. No one thought I truly loved him! Only Hathaway flew back for more than ten hours just to accompany me. I have so many blood relatives, but Hathaway is the only true family member in my heart."

"I only wanted to fulfill Hathaway's wish to marry the person she loves. I never thought this decision would lead her to death." Annie's breakdown intensified. "Robert is right. You and Darwin are not the ones to blame. It's me! I went against everyone's objections and replaced the rose, which was originally meant to be married to Darwin, with Hathaway."

"Annie, I haven't had the chance to have a deep conversation with Hathaway like you have. I don't understand her as well as you do. I want to know, if Hathaway finds out that you and Robert have killed so many people, possibly including those she knows and has interacted with, would she be happy?"

Annie suddenly froze.

Fiona didn't rush Annie to answer and asked another question, "She loved you so much. If Hathaway knows that you blamed yourself every day, pushing yourself to the point where you can't even live a normal life, would she feel heartbroken and blame herself?"

Annie looked up at Fiona in horror.

A moment later, Annie suddenly burst into tears and cried out, "She will! Hathaway left me a letter before she died, hoping that I would be happy. But my sister died so miserably and pitifully. How can I be happy!"

Fiona felt extremely anxious. She didn't know how long she had been unconscious or how Darwin was doing now.

But Fiona couldn't show too much urgency. If she stimulated Annie, it would only backfire.

"Annie, this is not the way to let Hathaway rest in peace," Fiona said helplessly.

Annie sobbed for a moment.

Then she looked up at Fiona and said, "You want me to let you go and save Darwin, right?"

Fiona looked at her and, without hesitation, nodded. "Yes."

Annie picked up the dagger Crimson had dropped on the ground and walked toward Fiona.

Then, with a cold face, Annie cut the ropes that bound Fiona. "You can't save Darwin. Finding him would only lead to death. Instead of looking for him, you better go back and save your children."

Fiona's face turned pale. "What do you mean?"

"It has been four hours since you disappeared. Your phone and the locator bracelet were sent to Robert's place from the beginning. Robert was prepared to die with Darwin. If Darwin finds his way there, there is no chance of survival," Annie said calmly, "Robert also has an assassin named Sabre. Sabre's mission is to kill your two children. You can't save Darwin. Go back and save your children."

"Why didn't Robert kill me?" Fiona blurted out.

But as soon as Fiona asked the question, the answer came to her mind.

Why?

Of course, it was to make Fiona lose all her loved ones and live in pain and torment!

"Fiona, you saved my life, and now I will return the favor to you. But I won't let go of Hathaway's revenge," Annie handed the dagger to Fiona. "Robert knows that your son and brother are both skilled hackers. To avoid being tracked, no device here can be used to communicate with the outside world. There is a car outside. If you drive along the road to the east for about twenty kilometers, you will reach a place with people."

"Tie up Crimson and put him in the trunk. Come with me!" Fiona said without hesitation.

"Are you worried that the car has been tampered with?" Annie asked with a cold smile.

Fiona was worried. Crimson was not acting alone. If Crimson disappeared for too long, her comrades would notice and come looking for him. At that time, Annie would be doomed.

Fiona was determined to save Annie's life, not for Annie but for the innocent people who died and to console the grieving families of those innocent people. Annie and Robert had to stand in the dock and face judgment.

If they died in a remote place like this, No one but the killer would be happy, no matter how much physical torture they suffered.

"Aren't you afraid that Robert has arranged other killers whom you don’t know here?" Fiona asked in a cold voice.

Annie was afraid of death.

Fiona's words immediately held Annie captive.

In an instant, the two slender women, dragging the barely alive Crimson, used all their strength to stuff him into the trunk.

Then Fiona and Annie got in the car. Fiona started the engine and pressed the accelerator to the floor, speeding directly onto the road.

By this time, the sky had already darkened.

There was not even half a person's shadow on the road.

Fiona was extremely anxious, regardless of Darwin or the situation with Chicago and Charles.

"Fiona, are you crazy? Slow down!" Annie tightly gripped the car handle, glanced at Fiona sideways, and angrily reprimanded her.

Fiona said nothing.

After more than ten minutes, Fiona finally saw the house.

Luckily, as Fiona entered the intersection of the city, she saw a police station located at the intersection first. Without hesitation, Fiona drove the car directly into it. The officer on duty immediately came out. Fiona got out of the car. The officer immediately recognized her.

"Fiona, weren't you kidnapped?"

"The kidnapper is in the passenger seat and the trunk. Please let me contact my husband immediately!" Fiona urgently said.

The officer immediately responded, taking out his phone.

Fiona snatched it anxiously and quickly dialed Darwin's number.

The call went through, but it just kept ringing with no answer.

Fiona immediately called Mike.
