Chapter 1107

Before heading to the conference room, Darwin stopped by the CEO's office.

The staff hadn't seen him in over six months. They were all ready and looking sharp for his arrival.

When Darwin finally showed up, they couldn't hide their excitement.

"Mr. Solomon!" they cheered.

Darwin just nodded and went straight to the CEO's office.

"He's lost a lot of weight, and you can still see some scars on his cheeks, but doesn't Mr. Solomon look even more handsome?" Dubbs nudged his colleague.

The colleague nodded eagerly. "He looks so refined!"

"Totally!"

"Mr. Solomon and Mrs. Solomon are really in love!" the receptionist whispered excitedly.

Inside the CEO's office, Antony had several contracts ready for Darwin's approval.

"How are you feeling?" Antony asked.

Darwin didn't look up. "Not bad."

"That's good." Antony smiled warmly.

Darwin suddenly looked up at Antony. "Why have you lost so much weight?"

The last time he saw Antony was in the hospital. He looked much better then.

"Someone in my family passed away," Antony replied.

"Then take more rest," Darwin said, looking away. "No need to push yourself."

"This is the first shareholders' meeting since you got injured. I had to be here; I wouldn't trust anyone else with these matters," Antony replied.

Darwin glanced at him again. "Thanks for your hard work."

Antony shrugged. "That's why I get paid well."

Darwin didn't say anything else. When it was time for the meeting, he headed straight to the conference room.

Everyone knew Darwin had injured his leg, so when he showed up with a cane, no one dared to show any surprise.

Darwin seemed indifferent, still carrying his usual aura, and took his seat at the head of the table.

"Everyone, long time no see," Darwin said, his gaze sweeping over the crowd.

"Mr. Solomon, long time no see!"

"Mr. Solomon, hope you've been well!"

Everyone greeted him warmly.

Darwin looked away, not intending to engage in deep conversation.

"During my recovery, under Fiona's leadership, the company's performance has been excellent. Thank you for your cooperation," Darwin continued.

Henry lowered his eyelids.

Originally, the CEO's office had prepared a script for Darwin.

He said, "Thank you all for your support and cooperation with Mrs. Solomon's work over the past half year."

Darwin changed the script, swapping 'Mrs. Solomon' for 'Fiona' and 'support for her work' to 'under her leadership.'

"Frankly, we were in chaos after losing our pillar in the company, but fortunately, Mrs. Solomon turned the tide. Otherwise, how could we face Mr. Solomon now?"

"Yes! Thanks to Mrs. Solomon!"

Everyone chimed in.

Darwin found these words comforting. He remained silent, letting them praise Fiona a bit more, feeling quite gratified.
