Chapter 125 Disabled His Hands
"I'm just angry at you for destroying such a good relationship over something like this!" Anniston brought up the topic of Hathaway and their marriage again.
"Mom, if you come to me to slander Fiona because of this, our days with Uncle and the others won't be easy." Anniston had two younger brothers, a cousin, and a nephew.
At the moment, they were either working for Solomons or had business cooperation with them. Anniston wasn't afraid; instead, she was confident.
"They should still be at the Seventh People's Hospital. If you don't believe me, go see for yourself!" There was a brief pause before Anniston added, "Son, you will understand your mother's good intentions! We shouldn't have come to this point, and both you and I know how much influence Fiona had so far."
After finishing her words, Anniston hung up the phone.
Darwin stood in the cold wind for a moment, then turned back.
"What did Aunt say? Does she know I'm back?" Lilian asked.
"No, there are some family matters that I need to take care of." Darwin's tone was gentle.
Lilian, acting very sensible, replied, "Alright, then go quickly."
"You go and sleep obediently."
"Mhmm!"
Darwin put on his coat and walked into the thick darkness with his tall figure. The car sped down the road.
More and more details were connecting in Darwin's mind. Today, Mia pushed Fiona down, and when she got up, she held her abdomen. Did she go to the hospital to protect the baby because the fall was severe?
The more Darwin thought, the more agitated he became.
After driving for over an hour, he finally arrived at the entrance of the Seventh Hospital. Darwin parked by the roadside, rolled down the driver's window, and smoked while staring at the entrance.
He understood Anniston. She could call him triumphantly and say that Fiona was pregnant. So this matter was almost certain.
After a while, several cars arrived one after another. Several tall men in black suits approached Darwin's car window.
"Mr. Solomon!"
"Go in and take away my wife and the people with her." Darwin's tone was chilling.
"Understood!"
The suited men immediately led their team to the hospital.
When they found Fiona, Dagmar was not by her side. He had gone to fetch hot water for her.
"You all..." Fiona looked at the familiar faces and furrowed her brows slightly.
"Madam, Mr. Solomon ordered us to take you back." The suited man appeared polite but had a very dominant attitude.
Fiona was speechless. "Tell him I have something to do..."
"Madam, please cooperate with us."
Fiona remained silent.
She didn't want to cause any trouble when Dagmar was about to return.
When Darwin went crazy, let him know about Dagmar and her being together.
At that time, Dagmar would be the unlucky one.
"Where is he?" Fiona stood up.
"The gentleman is waiting for you outside."
Fiona didn't say anything and walked out on her own initiative.
Dagmar came back with hot water and happened to see Fiona being taken into the elevator by several tall men in black.
He was shocked. He didn't even notice the vibrations of his phone in his pocket twice. He quickly ran downstairs to chase after them. Usually, he could catch up with the elevator running this fast on the stairs.
But his luck was bad, as he bumped into the janitor who was sorting out rubbish in the corridor. While he was anxiously making sure the janitor was not injured, he chased out again and saw Fiona being pushed into a car from afar. All his attention was on Fiona, and he didn't notice Darwin's presence.
Dagmar ran over frantically.
Fiona got in the car. She coldly glanced at Darwin, "What do you want now?"
Darwin didn't say anything. His gaze swept over the back of her right hand. There were still some purplish marks from the needle after the infusion in the afternoon. An unnamed anger suddenly ignited.
Just at this moment, and that person who didn't know any better, yelled her name.
"Fiona!!"
"What are you doing! I've already called the police, release her!" Fiona's back chilled.
"Dagmar." Fiona heard Dagmar's voice and saw Darwin punched him as a result of hatred.
This was Bay City, Darwin's territory. What trouble could she get into? What was he doing in such a hurry to chase after her?
"He's really infatuated with you, isn't he?" Darwin sneered.
"What nonsense are you talking about again?" Fiona frowned, "I'll get off the car and explain it to him first."
Darwin locked the car door.
Fiona was shocked. Then, Darwin rolled down the window.
Dagmar had already been intercepted by several bodyguards.
When the car window closed and Darwin looked over, Dagmar's pupils trembled violently, and the color drained from his face.
"Dagmar, please take care of Ashton for me, I have..." Fiona pretended to be calm.
"Darwin, you can't force her to do something she doesn't want to do!" Dagmar stared at Darwin and said word by word, "Fiona is a human being, not a pet you can imprison!"
Darwin laughed and said, "So this is how you explained it to him? Not that you willingly... sold yourself?"
Fiona froze. It had been a long time since Darwin said something like this. Long enough that she almost forgot how terrible of a person he originally was.
"Darwin!!" Dagmar roared.
"Enough of your noise!" Darwin grew impatient and then lightly said, "Disable his hand."
"Darwin!" Fiona exclaimed in shock.
"Have you gone mad? Dagmar is a doctor, and his hands are meant for performing surgeries!"
Outside, several bodyguards looked at each other.
"Do I have to say it again?" Darwin asked.
"Understood!"
"No! Let Dagmar go!" Fiona tried to pull the door open.
Darwin grabbed her and pulled her into his arms, pinching her chin, and said fiercely, "What? Ms. Wood is not satisfied with me disabling his hands? She wants me to do more?"
"What's wrong with you?" Fiona looked at Darwin in shock.
Tears started to well up in her eyes due to her anxiety.
Darwin became even angrier seeing her crying for Dagmar.
"What's wrong with me?" Darwin smirked and glanced at the car window.
Dagmar is quite skilled in combat. He managed to hold his ground against these professional mercenaries for two rounds. But now, he was pinned down on the street.
"Make them stop quickly!" Fiona grabbed Darwin's hand and pushed him twice with force.
Darwin had always been stubborn. He made the most concessions and tolerances for Fiona in his life. But now he realized that no matter how much he tolerated, she still wanted to go to other men. Well then, let's get serious. Darwin remained unmoved.
The bodyguards pressed Dagmar to the ground and pulled out a sharp dagger from somewhere.
"No! Please, no!" Fiona was going crazy.
Dagmar is a doctor, and that has been his dream since childhood. He has worked so hard for so many years for it!
"Darwin, I beg you! Don't do this!!"
