Chapter 833 Deserving a Slap
Fiona didn't hesitate. She grabbed her phone, turned the volume up to the maximum, and played a voice message.
It was none other than Rebecca who had bribed the staff to play a certain video message.
Rebecca's face was tense.
"Didn't I say it was a surprise... a surprise video?" She continued to insist.
Fiona chuckled, "Rebecca, you're so foolish. If it weren't for Stella always indulging you, you would have met a bad end long ago. Where do you think the staff member you bribed is now? And where are the things you gave him?"
Rebecca's face stiffened, and she said, "Mrs. Solomon, I've heard about your affairs."
Fiona remained silent, watching her quietly.
Rebecca continued, "Your mother died tragically because the mistress took over, right? So, you should understand my pain and hatred even more!"
"I don't understand," Fiona replied coldly, "You can harm the person who destroyed your family, but has Stella harmed you? As far as I know, she has always genuinely treated you like a sister, hasn't she?"
Rebecca's face grew even uglier. "But that doesn't change the fact that she is the mistress's daughter!"
"So, that's your reason for hurting her recklessly?" Fiona sneered, "You got her drunk to send her to another man's bed and maliciously created videos and photos to spread everywhere, tarnishing her reputation. You forced a person with such good academic performance to drop out, leading her to live aimlessly, losing the trust of her loved ones, and she has been entangled for sixteen years without any resolution."
Fiona paused for a moment. Staring at Rebecca, she asked, "How much hatred do you have? How can you harm someone who genuinely cares for you?"
"You're talking nonsense. It's her fault for leading an improper life; what does it have to do with me?" Rebecca immediately denied it.
Fiona smiled and said, "Do I look like someone who fabricates stories out of thin air? The wealthy businessman from back then—he's still alive. I could easily call him. Would you like to meet him again?"
Rebecca's complexion drained of color instantly.
Fiona added, "And two years ago, the photographer you hired to follow Stella, I've located him as well," Fiona lowered her eyelids and calmly continued, "Every time Stella interacted with a man, he intentionally captured suggestive photos, pushing the boundaries of ambiguity..."
"I did not!" Rebecca reflexively denied it once more.
Without hesitation, Fiona took out a stack of papers and threw them directly at Rebecca's face.
Rebecca instinctively caught one. After glancing at it, her pupils trembled violently.
"These are chat records from your early years on social media, and you haven't deleted this account yet," Fiona said.
Rebecca held onto the paper tightly.
"What do you want?" She looked at Fiona and said, "I didn't expect this, Mrs. Solomon; you're really looking out for the mistress's daughter, protecting her like this?"
"Rebecca, do you think Stella doesn't know that you've been behind all these schemes?" Fiona looked at Rebecca and said coldly, "Stella knows better than anyone!"
Rebecca clenched her fists. Her body couldn't help but tremble.
"Why has she never explained anything?" Fiona grew angrier as she spoke, "You're foolish. Your actions are not clever at all. If she wants to, you will be exposed! By that time, not only will your father despise you, but you won't be able to handle Wyatt's retaliation alone! How can you, with such despicable actions, justify her feelings towards you?"
Rebecca remained silent. Of course, she knew that Stella was aware of everything. After all, Stella had confronted her after escaping from the businessman.
That day, Rebecca was truly afraid. She was worried that Stella would expose everything she had done.
She waited for a long time, but Stella did not expose her. Instead, she packed up her things and moved out of the White family.
Rebecca tentatively released those fabricated scandals.
Under pressure, Stella still didn't say anything, and she didn't even confront Rebecca again.
Not long after, under her father's wrath, she chose to drop out of school.
It was precisely because Stella had indulged her time and time again that it gave Rebecca even more audacity.
What was wrong with Rebecca?
Weren't all these things tacitly approved by Stella herself?
"Today is her long-awaited wedding day. Even if she has been protecting you for so many years, don't you have a bit of conscience?" Fiona continued.
Rebecca's shame and anger reached their peak at this moment.
Rebecca suddenly shouted, "She's a woman who does whatever she wants. How can she deserve such a good marriage? I'm doing a good deed; I'm helping Alexander and the Beaumont family see who she really is!"
Fiona stood up without a word and delivered a resounding slap.
"Fiona!" Stella shouted.
The door swung open.
Stella rushed in, followed by the grim-faced Alexander.
Fiona shook her tingling hand. She glanced at Stella, "If you defend her, we'll be at odds!"
"Are you okay?" Stella glanced at the bewildered Rebecca, then at Fiona's hand, saying, "If it's broken, Darwin will kill me!"
With just one sentence, Stella made Fiona laugh out loud in disbelief.
"Why do you hit me?!" Rebecca reacted and immediately tried to rush towards Fiona.
Stella shielded Fiona and stood in front of her, facing the sister who had once loved her.
"You deserve it, so she hit you!" Stella replied loudly.
Rebecca's raised hand froze in mid-air upon hearing Stella's words. She said, "Stella, what are you saying?"
Stella said firmly, "For over a decade, I've been tolerating and indulging you. And now you want to ruin my wedding with Alexander? Rebecca, you're either too malicious or you've lost your mind."
"You..." Rebecca was too used to Stella's compliance. Her hand, suspended in mid-air, was about to slap Stella's face.
But Stella, who had never resisted her, grabbed her wrist, then raised her hand and slapped her face with force.
Stella almost used all her strength.
Rebecca took a few steps back, her ears ringing.
After the slap, even Stella was shocked, but what followed was a sense of satisfaction.
A very satisfying feeling.
"Rebecca, you're wrong!" She looked at Rebecca.
Stella seemed to instantly return to the moment when she confronted Rebecca after escaping from the businessman.
"Adam deceived my mother! She was the victim! Even if the mistress is guilty, I am not! I couldn't choose my birth, but I have never harmed you. I have been good to everyone in your family! I don't owe you anything! I don't deserve the punishment you're giving me!" Stella said firmly, "If you stop now, the past will be forgotten. But now... I want everyone to know your true colors and the truth behind those past events!"
