Fiona reached out her hand.
Christopher snatched the medical kit from Leto and handed it over to Fiona.
She punched in the password, popping open the kit to reveal eight vials of pale pink liquid.
She picked one up, giving it a gentle shake between her fingers. "But I've heard this stuff is poison."
"No way!" Leto's forehead was slick with sweat as he shot a nervous glance at Rose.
"Let's not argue; it's easy to check." Fiona smiled at Rose and said, "Christopher, give Ms. Everhart a shot and see if she keels over."
Rose's eyes widened in shock. "This is a psychoactive drug, and you want to inject me?"
"Hubert said it wouldn't do much to a normal person, maybe just make them sleepy for a few days." Fiona handed the syringe to Christopher.
Christopher immediately strode over, grabbing Rose's arm to give her the shot.
"No!" Rose screamed, struggling with all her might.
But she was no match for Christopher's strength.
The needle was about to pierce her skin.
Rose finally cried out in terror, "It's poison! It really is poison!"
Leto was stunned. "Rose, how could it be poison? Didn't you say it was Mr. Graham's unfinished product? You lied to me?"
Christopher let go.
Rose crumpled to the ground, trembling with fear as tears streamed down her face.
She completely ignored Leto's questions.
"You really gave me poison?" Leto knelt in front of her, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her. "You said this woman bullied you, and you just wanted a little revenge. But it's poison! You want to kill Darwin, and you want to kill me and Mr. Graham, too? Rose, how could you become like this!"
"Get away from me!" Rose shoved Leto aside.
Leto lost his balance and fell to the ground.
Rose snapped, "None of you men are any good. Do you think I don't know why you're helping me? You just want to sleep with me, you fool. You walked right into my trap, and what does that have to do with me?"
Leto looked at her like she was a stranger. She was no longer the woman he had cherished in his memories.
Rose ignored Leto.
She looked up at Fiona, who was staring down at her. Rose shouted, "My aunt's death is a warning!"
Fiona's face remained cold and silent.
Rose continued, "This disease can't be cured. Even if he seems normal for a while, you never know when he'll go crazy and kill you! Kill your children! Kill your other family members! Fiona, I'm trying to help you; don't you understand?"
As she finished shouting, a sudden gust of wind blew past, and she was slapped hard across the face.
"Where does this lunatic come from, wanting to kill Fiona's husband but claiming it's to help her?" Thalassa was furious, and her slap was so forceful that Rose was left dizzy.
When she looked up again, almost everyone was there except for the kids, and even Wyatt was present.
"No matter how sick Darwin is, he's better than you and your mother! After ruining Aiden and Marisole Everhart's lives, you want to destroy my precious granddaughter's life too?" Janna was livid, her gaze fixed on Rose and filled with nothing but disgust.
