Chapter 158 How Can There Be Someone So Similar?

"Family elders enjoy sparring. I often join them, that's all. You're pretty good too," Fiona said with easy grace.

Family elders?

Roy had heard that this lady might come from the Rhoads family. The elder in her family, could that be the famous Janna?

"I'm willing to admit defeat. Bring the young master over to my place one day to pick something he likes."

"No problem." Fiona answered with a smile. "Roy, you didn't invite me over just to play tennis, right? Time is precious, shall we sit down and talk? You can share some of your thoughts with me."

Roy replied with a smile, "Then let's talk over tea."

The two of them headed for the lounge.

At that moment, someone called out to Roy.

Is that Mr. Roy?"

That voice... Fiona was taken aback for a moment.

Roy turned around, his smile fading slightly, "Long time no see, last time was at Solomon's celebration, wasn't it?"

"That was years ago; you have a good memory," Lilian spoke, her gaze drifting to the slender figure. "And this is...?"

Fiona turned around.

Lilian's smiling face suddenly froze, then the color drained from her face, leaving her completely pale.

"Aren't you Miss Robbins, from the Solomon family?" Fiona looked at her, her smile graceful and generous, "I'm Chelsea, I've heard much about you, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"You... What did you say your name is?"

"Chelsea. Is there a problem?" Fiona asked with curiosity.

"You..." Lilian's heart was pounding.

She was clearly Fiona, why call herself Chelsea?

And Chelsea was Janna's granddaughter, a high-profile socialite.

"Miss Robbins, you look quite unwell, are you feeling alright? Shall I call a doctor for you?" Roy asked with a concerned frown.

"I'm fine!" Lilian shook her head, quickly recovering her composure. "It's just that you look a bit like me, so I was surprised."

Roy was startled.

Looking between Fiona and Lilian, he could actually see a resemblance.

"Now that you mention it, there really is a resemblance."

But Fiona was clearly far more beautiful than Lilian, especially in terms of her aura, she completely overshadowed her.

"I often meet people who look somewhat similar to me." Fiona said with a laugh. "Maybe because I have a 'common' face?"

Roy burst into laughter, "Stop kidding, Chelsea. You have a 'common' face? How is the general public supposed to look then?"

Lilian watched the two interacting as if they were old friends.

It was all the driver's fault today for being so slow, causing her delay.

"Did you two just arrive or..."

"Just finished a game of tennis. I'm about to go for tea. Miss Robbins, we won't keep you from your game any longer. See you later." Roy said, ready to leave with Fiona.

Lilian had been hoping to seduce him with her beauty.

But in front of Fiona's pretty face, she felt inadequate.

She could only watch, helplessly, as Roy and Fiona got in the car and drove away.

"Chelsea..." Lilian's heart pounded as she whispered the name over and over.

Then she took out her phone to look up the information she had found on Chelsea.

Chelsea, 28 years old. The granddaughter of Janna, her second son's child, frail and often ill from a young age, lived a private life secluded from public view. Three years ago, she graduated from MIT and started Monsoon Investment. She became famous the very next year after acquiring a century-old luxury car brand.

Looking at Chelsea's profile, no matter how hard she tried, Lilian couldn't reconcile the Fiona she'd met with Chelsea.

Different ages.

Different experiences.

Except for that face...

It was uncannily similar!

It would be no exaggeration to say they were identical!

What if Darwin were to see her...

The thought sent a shiver of fear through Lilian.

No, she must never let Darwin see Chelsea. That would spell disaster!

Fiona had made her preparations to meet Lilian.

She didn't expect that day to come so soon.

Yet she wasn't worried.

Fiona could sense Lilian's crazy love over Darwin.

Lilian had declared she would never let Darwin see her again.

"Chelsea, you've met Miss Robbins from Solomon too. To be honest with you, she's also interested in this deal." Roy said as he steeped the tea and pushed it toward Fiona. "I have to say, I really appreciate your work, but whether or not we collaborate will depend on your proposal."

"Understood." Fiona replied, with a faint smile. "My team won't disappoint you."

That afternoon, Fiona and Roy talked about many things.

He had no shortage of ideas, many of which sounded quite ambitious.

But Fiona had noted them all down, which genuinely surprised Roy.

Before they parted, he couldn't help asking, "When I shared my ideas today, you didn't reject a single one. Why is that?"

"My job is to analyze what you want and to realize what can be realized. You're just putting forward ideas, it's not time for me to say 'no' yet." Fiona responded.

After seeing Fiona off, Roy finally understood why he felt so at ease.
Fiona's way of conversing was not confrontational.

She listened attentively to what he had to say, and on the rare occasions that she offered insight, it was never offensive.

What's most crucial is that in doing so, she came off to Roy as simply well-mannered and refined rather than obsequious or sycophantic.

"Indeed, Chelsea is quite impressive, such a shame she's already married with children." Roy remarked to his assistant, looking genuinely regretful.

"Did we ever mention that Chelsea was married?"

"Before, we hadn't even heard of a Rhoads family member like her, but suddenly, she's risen to prominence. Who knows who else is out there?" Roy said, preparing to leave in his car.

The driver had just opened the door.

Just then, a delicate voice called from behind, "Sir, my car has broken down, may I catch a ride with you?"

Roy turned around.

Lilian was running, out of breath. Her skirt was short, revealing her knees and a little bit above, showcasing her long, straight, fair legs. Her top was just tight enough to accentuate her curves.

Her red lips and white teeth, smooth skin, like porcelain, made an irresistibly tempting sight.

Roy thought to himself that although Lilian had a slightly lesser aura and appearance compared to Chelsea, she was more alluring in her charm.

"Of course, you can." Roy replied quite willingly.

Lilian clutched her chest, visibly relieved.

"That's wonderful, then how about I treat you to dinner tonight as thanks?" Lilian asked as she walked over.

The sweet scent of her perfume was intoxicating.

"How can I let a beauty like you pay? I already have plans with Chelsea tonight. If I were to neglect you, it would only be right for me to make it up to you with dinner."

Roy was somewhat aware of Lilian's ties to Darwin.

No matter whether a deal with Solomon was possible or not, Darwin was someone he absolutely could not afford to offend.
