Chapter 1444
Jessie used to be on a pretty strict diet.
But now?
With folks like Stuart, Christopher, Chicago, and even Charles around, they couldn't help but felt bad for Jessie, who almost died.
So they gave Jessie a can of food.
One day, Thalassa caught Jessie eating six cans in one day.
Even a dog would be stuffed silly.
"I wonder if Jessie will still be cool with me when we get back," Darwin said, holding Fiona's hand, his tone a bit wistful.
"You should be more worried about Jessie and that cat you and Chicago adopted," Fiona teased. "Milo's like a king at Emerald Pool now. Did you see the photo I sent you of him sitting on Stuart's head?"
"Yeah, I saw it," Darwin nodded with a smile. "He looks so proud, I almost didn't recognize him. When Chicago brought him over, he was so tiny, it looked like he could barely breathe."
"Chicago takes good care of these little animals. Even the koi in the lake have gotten quite plump."
The two walked and chatted.
Sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on them.
"Fiona?"
As they walked, a few girls in dresses taking photos looked over and then excitedly called out.
Darwin then heard a soft voice say, "Darwin is here too!"
Darwin was speechless.
"Can we take a picture with you?" One of the bolder girls asked Fiona excitedly. "I'll keep it private, I won't post it!"
"We will too! We will too!"
"No need to keep it private, you can post it," Fiona said with a smile, then looked at Darwin. "Is that okay with you?"
Darwin nodded.
The girls became even more excited, some even jumping up and down.
They were on a graduation trip to Serene City.
They had hired a professional photographer, and the group gathered Fiona and Darwin in the center.
They completed the group photo, barely able to contain their excitement.
"Do you want individual photos?" After the group photo, Fiona saw the girls still hesitating and offered.
The girls screamed, "Really? Can we?"
Fiona smiled and replied, "Of course."
The photo spot was an old bridge, perfect for capturing the moment.
"You're so nice! You look even better in person than in photos and videos!"
"Yeah, you're really beautiful!"
"Mr. Solomon is handsome too!"
The girls showered Fiona with compliments, and they praised Darwin too.
"Alright, you guys have fun. We'll be on our way," Fiona chatted with them for a bit, then waved and walked off with Darwin.
As they watched the two walk away, the girls playfully nudged each other, their expressions full of excitement.
What Fiona didn't know was that the girl who first asked for the photo was somewhat famous in the vintage fashion community.
Since Fiona said the photos could be posted, the girl quickly edited them and posted them on her social media.
[Early birds really do get the worm. Just arrived in Serene City to take photos, and who do I see? Two incredibly good-looking people walking towards me! I took a closer look and realized it was Fiona! I rushed over, and Fiona was so nice, she even offered to take individual photos with us! No wonder Mr. Solomon is smitten, who wouldn't be? Even in the short time we took photos, I was smitten too! Thalassa wasn't lying, Fiona is really sweet and lovely! If Mr. Solomon wasn't there, I would have hugged her!]
She posted two photos, one group shot and one individual shot.
