Chapter 736 Seal Off the Pier

As soon as she finished her words, everyone in the living room's expressions underwent a drastic change.

"Here?" Harold was the first to speak. "Madam, do you know where he was in danger? How could he be here?"

"I know it's unlikely, but he really looked like him!" Jessica said with panic, "I thought maybe you should come and take a look, just in case?"

"Where?" Fiona snapped back from her thoughts, immediately asking.

She didn't care about the geographical location or what was possible or not.

"It's Aura's fiancé!" Jessica's throat tightened. "Back then, he didn't seem well, so I ran over to take a look. Aura and Cyrus had strange reactions. I only glanced briefly, but one of them pushed me out while the other blocked the man. He's much thinner than Mr. Solomon, but his facial features are strikingly similar!"

"Aura?" Burl exclaimed.

Fiona didn't think much of it.

She had to find out for herself, even if only one in a billion chance existed.

"Bring the dune buggy over, and let's go to Aura's hotel!" Fiona said, gripping Jessica's hand tightly.

"Jessica, there's no need to be nervous. Even if it's not him, I'll still be grateful to you. But if it really is him, I will ensure your family's wealth and prosperity for a lifetime!"

After finishing her sentence, Fiona strode out.

Jessica stood stunned for a moment before hurriedly grabbing her husband and following suit.

Burl and Harold were bewildered.

On the other hand, Christopher, Mike, and Henry were energized as if they had just received a shot of adrenaline.

They quickly assembled.

Fiona got into the first dune buggy, with Burl and Harold joining her.

As they passed by the pier, Fiona noticed people moving things.

She became alert, picked up the walkie-talkie, and told Christopher, who was in the car behind her, "Seal off the pier immediately. No ships should be allowed in or out!"

Aura's house and Aura's hotel were located on opposite sides of the island, quite a distance apart.

It took her over two hours round trip whenever Fiona went for a walk.

The dune buggy would be faster.

But it still took them about twenty minutes to reach Aura’s residence.

Fiona jumped out of the car.

Just as she did, she collided with Gray, who had quietly come out of the house.

After the crowd dispersed, Gray began the relocation process in silence.

She had decided to give up a lot of her belongings and leave as soon as possible, and this was the last trip to move things.

Fiona got off the dune buggy.

She exuded a frosty aura, completely different from the person Gray was used to seeing.

"Fiona?" Gray hastily concealed her panic. "Did you forget something and come back? Is that why you're here?"

Fiona was a head taller than Gray, looking down at her with her eyes lowered. "Indeed, I forgot some things. I just heard it might have been left here, so I came to look for them."

Gray's mind was in turmoil, and her expression turned sour. "Is that so? You've come just in time, as we were preparing to leave."

As she spoke, Gray opened the door, gesturing for the men helping carry things to enter. "Please, go inside and take a look.

"Mom, I've already checked. Everything has..."

Fiona raised her gaze and saw Cyrus coming out from inside.

Upon seeing Fiona, Cyrus was horrified.

Hadn't she already gone back?

Why was she showing up at his doorstep?

"Miss Woods, why... why are you here?" Cyrus's voice was slightly hoarse.

As he spoke, not only did Fiona arrive, but several more dune buggies arrived one after the other.

And that's not all.

People kept coming toward them from the patrol posts.

Gray and Cyrus sensed that the situation had been exposed.

A few lost items wouldn’t cause a large-scale operation.

"Will you give him to me willingly, or did I have to use violence?" Fiona looked at the expressions of the two and was convinced that something was definitely going on here.

Could Darwin really be here?

Fiona's throat tightened.

Without waiting for Gray and Cyrus to speak, she raised her hand, and Christopher and the others immediately walked toward the hotel.

"What are you doing?"

Several strong men who came to help Gray move stood at the door menacingly. "Aunt, what's the situation?"

Gray quickly regained her composure.

She waved her hand and looked up at Fiona. "It's okay. Fiona probably lost something important. Let her go in and find it."

The strong men frowned and stepped aside.

Fiona's people immediately entered the hotel.

But after a search, Christopher stepped out with big steps. "Madam, no sign of anyone."

At this moment, Jessica and Jimmy also arrived late.

Cyrus and Gray knew the reason why Fiona had returned.

"Where is Aura?" Fiona stared at Cyrus and asked coldly.

Her terrifying aura was overwhelming.

"Aura has already left the island. Her husband is not feeling well; he had a sudden illness at night, so she went to see the doctor," Gray replied.

The next moment, Fiona grabbed Gray's collar with both hands. "Gray, do I look like someone whom you can easily fool? I'll only give you one chance to hand over Darwin! If I don't see Darwin within half an hour, none of your family will leave the island alive!"

Upon seeing this, those strong men immediately got ready for a fight.

Christopher didn't waste any words.

Before they could say anything, he went forward and started kicking.

Gray's face gradually turned pale.

Cyrus was also desperate.

He stepped forward, looked at Fiona with a stern face, and said, "Miss Woods, please don't do this. Let go of my mother!"

"I don't know where Darwin is, Fiona. Are you becoming delusional? My son is a skilled doctor. Let him examine you," Gray smirked.

Fiona looked at her, then looked at the luggage on the ground.

Suddenly, she thought of something.

The boat.

The boat at the dock!

"Go to the dock!" Fiona pushed Gray away fiercely, then quickly ran toward the sand car.

Jimmy and Jessica stood in the corner in panic.

Gray's gaze turned resentful toward them.

Jimmy instinctively protected his wife, preventing her from meeting Gray's gaze.

Cyrus supported his mother.

She whispered to Cyrus, "Make Aura sail the boat."

Before Cyrus could take out his phone,

Aura's call came.
Mike stayed in place and saw Cyrus's phone ringing. Without saying a word, he snatched it away.

"What are you doing?" Gray exclaimed.

The person behind Mike immediately approached menacingly and said, "Stay there, don't move!"

At that moment, Mike had already answered the phone.

Before he could speak, he heard Aura's low voice on the other end. "Cyrus, something's not right at the pier. All the lights are on."

"The pier has already been controlled. Ships are not allowed to leave. Your mother and Cyrus are in our hands now," Mike said harshly. "I advise you to send back the people you shouldn't have taken away. Don’t irritate my boss. Otherwise, the next time you see your family, you can only see their corpses!" "
