Chapter 712 His Savior
"Cyrus!"
To his surprise, Aura ran over again.
Cyrus felt somewhat helpless.
He stopped in his tracks. "Aura, I told you she wouldn't."
"Cyrus, Blaise vomited blood and fainted!" Aura even disregarded the fact that Fiona and her group were close by, and urgently exclaimed with a sobbing voice.
Cyrus froze and his expression became grave. "How could he suddenly vomit blood when he was perfectly fine?"
"I don't know, go and take a look quickly!"
"Someone is injured? I brought a medical team, do they need our help?" Fiona's voice echoed not too far away.
Aura was surprised upon hearing this.
She was about to agree.
Cyrus refused.
"We don’t need it. It's just my brother-in-law's old problem, and I can handle it!" With that, Cyrus didn't even give her the flower. He just pulled Aura back and ran.
Only when they were out of earshot from Fiona did he lower his voice and say, "Are you crazy? Didn't I say not to let them see Blaise?"
"But Blaise is in a bad state now." Aura was frightened upon seeing the blood on the ground.
"I can save him even when he was seriously injured, let alone a little blood. In any case, remember what I said if you don't want to lose Blaise!" Cyrus displayed an unprecedented explosiveness and dominance.
Upon hearing the mention of losing Blaise, Aura immediately became obedient.
Fiona stood still, looking at the frantic siblings.
"Doesn't the information say that they are both educated?" Fiona was a bit puzzled. "Why does it seem like they have a reluctance or aversion toward doctors?"
"Brother-in-law? Are you referring to the one who was scheming and causing trouble for us?" Christopher asked solemnly. "So, he turns out to be a sickly person?"
"I'm not sure, this person is quite mysterious. I heard he was Cyrus's best friend when he was studying, but no one has really seen him." Henry said. "But, the words of these people on the island should be taken with a grain of salt. They're very cunning, I don't expect everything they say to be true."
"It's true, there's not much credibility to them. Maybe the native islanders are treating him like a god and wouldn't easily expose who he really is," Christopher complained.
Christopher was extremely resentful now.
Fiona glanced at the direction of the inn again.
"When will the marine biology expert you found be able to arrive?" Fiona shifted her gaze back.
"Tomorrow afternoon, the authoritative expert that the volunteers found should arrive at about the same time," Henry replied.
Fiona nodded in response.
She turned around and walked back.
Cyrus hurriedly entered Blaise's room.
As soon as he walked in, he saw the bright red blood stains and the extremely anxious mother.
"Cyrus, what should we do?" Gray asked urgently when he saw his son.
Cyrus didn't say anything.
Cyrus walked up to Blaise, opened his eyelids, examined him, and then pressed some parts of his body.
Cyrus and Aura's father used to be a famous doctor before they came to this island.
Cyrus learned a lot from his father since he was young.
"He already had a blockage in his chest, and the vomiting of blood was because of the pent-up anger." Cyrus stared at the man lying on the bed who was unconscious and unresponsive with furrowed brows and looked at the place where the blood was vomited.
It was by the window, and Blaise was still holding onto the telescope tightly.
Cyrus stood up, walked to the window, and looked outside, directly facing the beach in the distance.
Darwin had been wandering there for a long time before those people bought the island last year.
Fiona had just been there as well.
"He was perfectly fine, so why did he have pent-up anger? Mom, did you and Blaise have an argument?" Aura was anxious and concerned and unintentionally spoke a bit harshly.
Gray had a face full of grievances. "I didn't. I brought food up and as soon as I pushed the door open, I saw Blaise vomiting blood. I didn't say a word!"
"Cyrus said it was because of pent-up anger!"
"That's enough!" Cyrus turned around sternly and looked at Aura. "How can you talk to Mom like that?"
Aura looked at Gray.
Gray had a face full of grievances as if she was going to cry in the next second.
"Mom, I'm sorry. I'm just really worried about Blaise, you know, Blaise almost didn't make it several times before, and now he suddenly vomited blood." As Aura spoke, tears started to fall.
Aura's mother didn't say anything, she just looked at her son with a complex expression.
Cyrus thought for a moment, took the pen and paper from the table, and wrote a prescription. He walked up to his sister and said, "Stop crying, there's nothing wrong with Blaise. It's actually a good thing for him to vomit out the blood from the pent-up anger in his chest. Go to the pharmacy and get these medications, he'll be fine after a few days of drinking them."
"Okay." Aura wiped her tears, looked at Blaise, took the prescription from Cyrus's hand, and went downstairs.
Cyrus and Gray looked at each other without saying a word.
"Mom, once Blaise gets better this time, you should leave with him and Aura," Gray said, his eyes lowered.
"Cyrus, is it really a good idea for us to do that?"
"There's nothing wrong with that, right? Didn't you say it yourself? She has started dating other men, and Blaise lost his memory and believed he was Aura's fiancé. Aura likes him so much. It's good to maintain the current situation. Everyone gets what they need. There's nothing wrong with that," Cyrus said excitedly.
Gray had a serious expression on her face.
Three months ago, Cyrus, who was working outside, suddenly brought back a heavily injured and unconscious man from the ship's cabin.
He was barely breathing, on the verge of death.
Cyrus said he was his friend, Blaise.
But Gray felt that this person looked familiar.
After half a month, the man had recovered somewhat at home. Gray unintentionally found a group photo while tidying up her late husband's belongings.
It was a picture of the wealthy businessman who came to buy the island and the island owner.
Her husband had a certain reputation on the island, and he was also in the photo.
Standing in the middle, the austere and handsome businessman, looked exactly like the man Cyrus brought back.
Gray was in a panic.
She thought about what her son said firmly after taking care of her husband's funeral and leaving the island.
"Mom, don't worry, I will find a way to make the buyer of the island, leave my father's hotel!"
Gray believed that Cyrus had injured and kidnapped the businessman out of desperation to keep the hotel.
She immediately found her son to question him.
Cyrus explained it at the time.
"Mom, it's not what you think! He was injured, and my boat happened to pass by that deserted island when I discovered him. I jumped off the boat and rushed over, confirming that he still had weak breath, so I saved him!"
"Saved him? Why didn't you hand him over to the police? Why did you bring him back?" Gray didn't believe it at all.
Both of her children felt a deep fondness for this hotel.
Gray wouldn't be surprised at anything they did to keep it.
"I wanted to save him. If I propose that he let go of my father's hotel as his savior, he will definitely agree," Cyrus said earnestly.
But things didn't go according to their plan.
After another half a month, the man who had been unconscious finally regained consciousness under Cyrus's treatment.
