Chapter 835 Just a Dream?

"Wyatt..."

Fiona was really worried about Wyatt's condition.

"It's okay, I just want to go home." Wyatt shook his head while waving his hand.

Wyatt wanted to go back to the home he lived with Stella.

Maybe everything happening now was just a dream.

When he got back and slept for a while, he and Stella would still look like they were in their teens, and he could protect her firmly. He would propose to her early and have a grander wedding than the one happening now.

Stella once said she hoped they would be like Fiona and Darwin. They would have a son first, then a daughter.

They would be very happy...

They would grow old together...

Fiona called out, "Mike!"

"Follow him, don't let him do anything foolish."

"Yes!" Mike spoke and caught up with Wyatt.

Wyatt seemed unaware that someone was following him, or maybe he didn't care.

He bought the last ticket back to Armie.

When he boarded the plane back to Armie, his phone received a message.

It was an old IG post from Stella.

Trembling, he clicked on it.

Stella was holding Alexander, happily posing with the guests behind her, then turned and kissed Alexander.

Tears streamed down Wyatt's face. He turned off his phone, thinking, 'This is not real. When he gets home, Stella will be there.'

'Just like every time before, she always comes back to him.'

The party ended late into the night. But it wasn't the end of Stella's wedding.

There was still a thank-you reception the next day.

As the guests gradually left, Stella, in a champagne-colored fishtail gown, holding a bottle of champagne, sat in a chair, cheeks flushed, clearly a bit drunk.

Chicago had a big day today; he was already asleep in Darwin's arms.

"I'll go tell the bride, and then we'll head home." Fiona squeezed Darwin's hand.

Darwin nodded.

Fiona got up and walked towards Stella.

When Stella saw her coming, she immediately reached out with a smile.

Fiona shook her hand and said with a smile, "Are you having a good time?"

"Absolutely," Stella lifted her head high and said, "Today is definitely the happiest day of my life!"

Stella seemed reborn. The heavy shackles on her body had fallen away. From now on, her body and soul were as free as the sky and sea, allowing her to soar!

"Charles and Chicago are tired; I'll take them back to the hotel first." Fiona patted Stella's hand and said, "Wishing you a very happy wedding night."

Stella blushed immediately and replied, "I know! Hurry, remember to bring Chicago and Charles for breakfast tomorrow morning!"

"Okay," Fiona said.

Seeing Stella blush was rare for Fiona.

After nodding, Fiona turned and walked towards Darwin.

As the family of four left, Alexander, who was seeing off the guests, returned.

Fiona and Darwin waved to him from a distance.

The more Alexander understood Stella's past, the more he appreciated Fiona as a good friend. He was growing fonder of the couple.

Stella sat there in a daze, watching Alexander approach, her smile becoming more playful.

"Have all the guests left?" When Alexander got closer, Stella looked at him, her voice soft. "I'm sorry, I drank too much and didn't go to see off the guests with you."

Alexander found her adorable.

"It's okay." Alexander gently bumped her nose.

Thinking back to what happened in the private room, he couldn't help but feel sorry.

Stella was truly amazing. She carried such heavy burdens yet remained so kind and bright.

"Are you ready for bed?" Stella asked softly.

Alexander smiled and nodded gently.

"But I can't get up. Can you hug me?" Stella put down the bottle and reached out to Alexander.

Without a word, Alexander lifted Stella horizontally.

Stella smiled and nestled her head into his chest.

"Alexander, I'm so glad you're here," she choked out.

How could Stella not feel wronged?

She was once not trusted by her lover. And she was pushed into the depths of hell by her dearest sister. Stella spent over a decade like a rat in the sewer.

If it weren't for Alexander, Stella didn't know what kind of life she would be living now.

She probably wouldn't have returned to Wyatt.

But if she didn't go back to Wyatt, where else could she go?

Wyatt was the only one she could depend on.

If she lost this harbor, too, she probably... would choose to sink, right?

Alexander's nose tingled. He held the person in his arms even tighter.

The evening party was held in Alexander's private estate.

Alexander himself arranged the bridal chamber.

Every detail inside was to Stella's liking.

After receiving Fiona's blessings, Stella's first night after marriage was especially pleasant.

Fiona returned to the hotel.

Charles managed to take a shower before collapsing.

Meanwhile, Chicago sprawled on the bed, and it was impossible to wake up.

Helpless, Fiona could only help her clean the makeup off her face.

Chicago was vain. After being a flower girl, she refused to remove her makeup, even touching up her lipstick twice.

After tidying up Chicago, Charles had already fallen asleep.

Several tech elites attended today's wedding, and it was rumored that Solomon's No. 7 engineer was also present.

They chatted with Charles a lot.

During the evening party, one of the elites shamelessly brought his laptop to Charles, asking him about problems.

Although Charles spent most of the time in quiet places today, he was quite exhausted from socializing.

And some people wanted to commission Chicago for a painting. But Chicago was really hard to pin down. So, if they wanted a painting, they had to ask Fiona.

Why not ask Darwin? After all, few knew about Darwin's amnesia.

Even though he seemed more polite than usual, he still instilled fear in people!

"Are you happy?" Fiona looked at Darwin, asking gently.

Darwin nodded and said, "We'll have a wedding as good as this one!"

Fiona smiled. "I don't want to handle anything; you have to arrange everything yourself."

"Okay." Darwin's expression became more determined.

Fiona dealt with group affairs every day, and he felt guilty for not being able to help. How could he burden Fiona with these matters when she was already so busy?

Fiona glanced at her phone when she had a moment.

She missed a call from Mike. And there was a message.

Mike: [Miss Chelsea, Wyatt has landed in Bay City and is on his way home. His condition seems normal, except for looking a bit pale and not speaking.]
