Chapter 132 Killing and Piercing Hearts

Intense pain enveloped her aging body. Memories rapidly awakened in her mind. She had been secretly observing Darwin's every move. Today, Darwin went to Fiona's apartment. He stayed there for a long time under strange circumstances. He was absent from the meeting he was supposed to attend in the evening.

Jones became extremely cautious, sensing that something was about to happen. She immediately made arrangements for a plane to escape with Hathaway. But when they arrived at the airport, Jones received an anonymous email. The email contained an address and a photograph. The photograph was of a jade pendant, a token that Jones had given to her lover when she was young. Unfortunately, they were separated by war later on, and for many years, Jones had been trying to find her young love.

Despite knowing that it was dangerous for her to return to her home country. Yet Jones chose to return alone after seeing off Hathaway. However, she left herself a backup plan. She made it seem that she too had boarded the plane and left. The plan was that after confirming whether or not that jade pendant was the token she had given her lover, she would immediately leave the country.

But when she arrived at her destination. She was alone and saw no one. She was suddenly struck on the head and fell into darkness. When she woke up, she found herself in this creepy place.
"Who are you?"Jones struggled to open her eyes, looking around warily.

"You've done too many bad things. Can't think of anyone who would come after you?" a cold voice said, with mockery.

Jones felt that this voice was familiar. But with a splitting headache, she just couldn't recall. At this moment, a snapping sound came from above her head, followed by a hissing sound of electricity.
She instinctively recoiled. When she looked up, a slim figure carrying a steel pipe had already approached her.

"Fiona!!" Jones recognized her at first glance. She was so beautiful, so dazzling. Even Hathaway would pale in comparison when standing next to her sometimes.

"Miss Jones, this is our first real encounter, isn't it?" Fiona tilted her head and looked at her. "But you have been plotting against me in secret, haven't you?"

"I don't understand what you're saying," Jones's face turned dark. "Miss Woods, my mistress and Darwin have terminated their engagement as you desired. I don't know why you still want to threaten a simple servant like me!"

"A simple servant?" Fiona laughed. "Would a simple servant hire an assassin to kill someone? I can understand if you want to harm me, after all, Hathaway couldn't attack me directly because of my love. But why did you hire someone to hit my friend?”

As Fiona spoke, she rotated the steel pipe on Jones's shoulder. The force was not light, but not excessively heavy either. Fiona didn't want to kill her.

"Ah!!" Jones screamed in pain.

"Does it hurt? She has three broken ribs, far more painful than this!" Fiona gritted her teeth.

"You madwoman! You're insane! I haven't harmed anyone!" Jones continued to plead.

Fiona sneered then clapped her hands. After a moment, a person appeared, with unnatural movements in both hands and feet. The man with a dying breath was dragged over. Jones looked at the man's strange posture. He was scared out of his wits.

"Do you recognize the hit-and-run driver? I have proof of money you sent him from a Swiss private bank. Do you want me to show you?" Fiona asked.

Jones looked at Fiona. Her face turned extremely ugly. "Fiona, I am an elder of the Ross family and have been highly valued by Mr. and Mrs. Ross. Do you think that quietly tying me up and killing me would solve everything?" she asked fiercely.

"Is that so?" Fiona smiled. "You're so capable, why run away? Shouldn't you just sit at home and wait for Darwin to come and kill you?"

Jones clenched his teeth tightly.

"Darwin originally intended to marry into the Ross family and just keep me on the side. It was you who couldn't be satisfied and had to come after me. And after your defeat, you took out your anger on me and my child!" Fiona grabbed Jones' hair. "The injuries to my best friend, my brother's hand, and my child's revenge... You and Hathaway can't escape from them!"

"Who's afraid of you?" Jones knew that she probably couldn't escape now, but he couldn't lose in words either. "Fiona, if you want to blame someone, blame yourself for willingly falling into depravity. Darwin was already going to get married, but you refused to let go. The car accident of your best friend, the hand of that pediatrician, and your child's circumstances were all caused by you! If you had left earlier, none of this would have happened, right?"

Fiona stared at her. Then she smiled instead of getting angry. "So you like implicating others, huh?" she asked.

Jones grew cautious.

"Have you forgotten how I brought you back from the plane?" Fiona raised an eyebrow slightly.
That beautiful face carried a smile that made Jones shudder. "What was his name, do you still remember?" Fiona stared at Jones and asked slowly.

"You..." cracks finally appeared on the mask of fearlessness on Jones' face. "I don't know what you're talking about!"

"David. Lee," Fiona responded lightly.

Jones' face trembled violently with fear and shock.

"I heard that your old dream was to open a Cantonese-style tea restaurant together?" Fiona asked again.

Jones's breathing became more rapid, but she still bit her lips and remained silent.

"He was very faithful." Fiona spoke slowly. "Remaining unmarried throughout his life, he opened a small tea restaurant and waited at the port for his untrustworthy lover to come back to him."

Jones began to tremble. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"To be honest, he didn't have an easy life, and the tea restaurant business wasn't doing well either. He lived quite poorly." Fiona shrugged. "But what's regrettable is that he will have an even more bitter future."

Jones looked up at Fiona. "What are you planning to do?"

Fiona looked at her coldly. "Don't you like implicating others? Don't you like harming those around me? How could I not let you experience this excruciating pain?"

"No!!" Jones' psychological defense completely collapsed.

"I haven't been in contact with David for decades, we're strangers. You said he didn't have an easy life! You have no reason to do anything to him. Just focus on me, don't harm innocent people! Miss Woods, I know you've always been doing charity work, helping the elderly, children, and the vulnerable... You are a kind person, so I beg you, spare him!"

Fiona approached her. In her beautiful eyes, there seemed to be no warmth. Then her thin lips gently closed. "Does it hurt?"

Jones nodded repeatedly, crying.

"That's good then." Fiona straightened up. "Don't worry, I will definitely give more money to the local ruffians, so they will bother Mr. David's tea house every day."

"Fiona!!!" Jones screamed.

"Break her tendons and throw them to Darwin."

The torture was now in Darwin's hands.
