Chapter 1445
The comment section quickly buzzed with activity.
[I was just there for photos yesterday! Why didn't I go today?!]
The blogger replied with a smug emoji.
[Mr. Solomon? Don't you usually call him Darwin? Come on, be bold! Darwin is Darwin, no need for formalities! He may be a jerk, but he's undeniably handsome!]
The blogger replied: [Don't even mention it. I almost called him Darwin several times. Good thing I didn't, or I might have been thrown off the bridge! But yeah, let's be real, he's really good-looking!]
[Those people saying Ms. Woods should find another man, I think she deserves to enjoy the shade of the tree she's nurtured for five years!]
The blogger replied: [Honestly, you can see their chemistry. They were laughing and chatting the whole time. Darwin looks at Fiona with stars in his eyes!]
Underneath that comment, one of the people who had also run into Fiona and Darwin replied.
The comment said: [Stars in his eyes? You guys are good at redeeming a jerk!]
The reply was, [Look at the stars!]
And it came with a picture.
It was taken just before they posed for a photo together.
Fiona was chatting about traditional clothing, and Darwin stood beside her, not looking at anyone else, just watching his wife talk.
The love in his deep eyes was palpable, even in a still photo. Anyone looking at it could clearly feel how much he loved and adored her.
It wasn't just stars.
Darwin's eyes seemed to hold an entire universe.
[He really loves Fiona!]
[Alright, alright, I've had my fill. Time to calm down.]
[By the way, why are they in Serene City? Are they on vacation?]
[Are you a fake fan? Ms. Woods grew up in Serene City.]
[They've been spotted twice in the past few days, and it seems like it's just the two of them. Where are their kids?]
[Obviously, they're enjoying some alone time!]
The comments quickly surpassed ten thousand.
Soon after, more people started posting photos of their encounters with Fiona and Darwin in different places.
There were pictures of them having afternoon tea together and crossing the street hand in hand.
Fiona returned to Sesame Alley, only to be bombarded with messages from Thalassa.
[You're really not worried about Chicago seeing your sweet couple moments online?]
[She woke up this morning, said 'I miss Mommy' 39 times while eating breakfast. You better handle this!]
[Weren't you supposed to be having a private couple's time at the apartment? Why are you in Serene City?]
[I'm warning you, if you don't bring me some amazing Serene City specialties when you come back, we're done!]
Fiona couldn't stop laughing.
She had already bought the specialties, two of each of Thalassa's favorites.
She had mailed them yesterday, and they should be arriving soon.
"We're getting ready to come back," Fiona texted Thalassa.
Thalassa immediately sent a video of Melissa talking.
Fiona showed it to Darwin.
"Melissa's almost a year old, right?"
"Yeah," Fiona nodded. "Time really flies."
They both sighed nostalgically.
The car to pick them up arrived.
Before leaving, Darwin made sure to check the irrigation system for the garden.
He was now extremely attentive to the gardenias.
Fiona couldn't help but laugh.
