As the internet buzzed with discussion, Kenny who was still at the overseas, suddenly started a live stream. Gossip-hungry netizens flocked and shared the link, tuning into the live broadcast.
There on the screen was Kenny, as handsome as a deity, his hair tousled, his gaze lowered as he typed away on his phone, glancing occasionally at the number of viewers in the live stream.
As the viewer count skyrocketed as if strapped to a rocket, Kenny, realizing the audience was sufficiently gathered, put down his phone, turned to the camera, and switched on the microphone.
"Good evening, everyone. I'm Kenny, Thalassa's husband. I was planning to go back and hold a press conference, but my wife said I couldn't return until the job was done, so here I am, live streaming," he began.
The chat erupted
[Oh my God, how can someone say 'wife' so bewitchingly?]
[Does he always listen to his wife like that?]

Kenny glanced at the continuous stream of messages and responded, "Divorced? Am I crazy? Do you have any idea how hard I worked to make this woman my wife? Even if you get divorced eight times, I won't."

[How can such a good-looking guy say something so ruthless.]
[Glad there's no divorce! Handsome men and beautiful women must stay together!]
Before going live, Kenny had thoroughly researched the streaming platform's features. He pinned one of the messages to the top of the homepage, causing the chatter to grow even wilder.
[But aren't you guys old money? Aren't you embarrassed by what she's done?] someone challenged in the chat.
Kenny frowned, reading the comment aloud, "Embarrassed? Thalassa has always been bright and cute, excelling academically, kind-hearted and generous. She graduated from an Ivy League school with outstanding grades and has been very successful in her career. Everyone around her adores and loves her. When she dated Chris, Thalassa remained devoted and loyal — how does that embody an embarrassed woman?"
The chat was flooded with exclamation marks.
Kenny continued, "There's no need to sensationalize this. I knew about this before we got married, as did my parents and family."
[So, your parents didn't object?]
"My mom met Thalassa just a few times and is already as fond of her as if she's family from Chicago," Kenny replied.
[Just an excuse, I still don't believe that you old money folks wouldn't care about this kind of thing.]
Kenny swiftly booted the naysayer from his live stream.
"How should rumors be dealt with?" Kenny addressed another question from the chat. "The way they ought to be, with no talk of settling."
[Kenny, don't mind those idiots. You just mentioned that Thalassa was hard to win over! Tell us your romantic love story!]
[Yes, yes, yes! We just want to hear your love story!]
The chat brimmed with similar pleas.
Kenny chuckled softly. "Simply put, the moment I saw Thalassa, I fell head over heels, and then I married her. After that, it was a slow journey of making her fall for me."
The comment section exploded in a frenzy of reactions.
Thalassa covered her face.
She collapsed on the sofa.
Fiona watched Kenny's live stream, shaking with laughter. "I've heard before that Kenny loves to show off his sweet relationship at school, but who knew he would do it this way?"
"It's good for Kenny to do a live stream at a time like this, drawing all the public's attention," Fiona said. "For the Chris issue, let him clarify the breakup process with Crystal."
Thalassa nodded.
Kenny's pleasing voice continuously came through.
"A wedding? Definitely happening, the plan was for next year, but now there's an issue with Thalassa's family, so the wedding will be delayed a bit."
"Who calls the shots at home? We've never really fought about that, we both listen to each other."
"Our wedding rings? There's a lot I could say about that. Thalassa has one, but not me, she's still preparing one for me. Yes, I'm waiting too."
“You and Kenny have been married for months and no wedding ring?“ Fiona was astonished.
"I plan to make one myself. I've just been too busy to get around to it."
"This Crystal thing, I'll handle it to your satisfaction, now go find a workshop, lock yourself in there, and have the ring ready for Crystal before Kenny gets back," Fiona immediately suggested.
“I feel like you’re Kenny’s family or something,“ Thalassa murmured.
"He calls me sister-in-law, so isn't that like family to me?"
“No way, you’re my family!“ Thalassa protested immediately.
Fiona laughed, quickly nodding. "My mistake, my mistake!"
Kenny’s live stream didn’t last long as he had a lab to attend.
Just before ending it, Kenny seriously addressed the camera, "This drama should never have happened. Thalassa has faced a lot of pressure because of it, and I hope this is the end. We will keep you updated on the legal actions against the rumor-mongers. Please, from now on, do not disturb my wife."
With that, Kenny nodded slightly and turned off the live stream.
The live stream, unsurprisingly, generated huge buzz on Twitter.
Users were quick to share the recording on Twitter.

Kenny stood by the window making a phone call.
"I saw the weather report; it's going to get colder over there. Remember to dress warmly so you don't catch a cold," Thalassa said gently on the phone, reminding Kenny to keep warm.
"I will," Kenny responded.
"Alright, go off to school," Thalassa paused for a moment, "finish early and come back soon. I miss you."
