Chapter 1430

"It's gone!" Christopher replied.

Fiona hung up the phone.

Just as she tossed her phone aside, the other side of the bed sank heavily, and an arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her into a cool embrace.

Darwin had just taken a shower, and his body was cold to the touch. He hugged Fiona from behind, his lips brushing against her neck.

"Are we still going to the movies tonight?" He asked.

"Let me rest for a bit, and we can catch the midnight show," Fiona said, lightly scratching Darwin's chin with her hand.

Darwin enjoyed it immensely.

He started to get a bit excited again.

But seeing how tired Fiona was, he quickly calmed down, turning her over and kissing her passionately, as if he couldn't get enough.

Fiona, half-asleep and too tired to resist, let Darwin kiss her.

Soon, Fiona drifted off to sleep.

She wasn't sure if it was because Christopher had just called and mentioned Rose.

In her dream, Fiona saw Marisole.

There wasn't much to it; she just saw her standing in the mist, with no interaction or conversation between them.

Fiona woke up not long after.

Even though the dream felt brief, when she woke up, it was already dark outside.

Darwin was holding her, fast asleep.

Fiona watched him for a while.

When it came to Darwin's looks, God had truly been generous.

Despite all the hardships and changes, Darwin's charm remained undiminished.

If Darwin weren't so good-looking, she wouldn't have been so captivated back then.

Fiona watched him for a bit longer, then pressed her soft lips to his.

She intended to pull away after a quick kiss.

But just as she was about to retreat, the hand on her waist tightened, pulling her back and deepening the kiss.

"Faking sleep, huh?" Fiona lightly patted him.

Darwin kept his eyes closed, smiling. "No, you woke me up with that kiss."

"I don't believe you," Fiona stretched lazily in his arms. "Darwin, do you know where Marisole is buried?"

Darwin paused, opening his eyes. He looked at Fiona, gently holding her chin and shaking it slightly. "Why bring this up all of a sudden? Did you have a nightmare?"

"I did dream about her, but it wasn't a nightmare," Fiona mimicked his gesture, shaking his chin. "I just feel like everything has settled now. I admire her and feel sorry for her, so I want to visit her."

Darwin pulled Fiona closer, wrapping his arms and legs around her. "That's a good idea. I should visit him too."

"Marisole?" Fiona could sense the shift in Darwin's emotions.

"Aiden." Darwin kissed Fiona's earlobe, then added, "Marisole and Aiden are buried together."

The Solomon Group had a private cemetery in a beautiful location.

Even Anniston was buried there after she passed away.

Only Aiden and Brooke weren't.

In Aiden's final days, Brooke knew how much Aiden despised being part of the Solomon family. So after Aiden's tragic end...

Brooke found a suitable cemetery in the place where Aiden and Marisole Everhart had hoped to settle down and buried them together.
