Chapter 1362

Fiona glanced at Rose and waved at Charles.

"Rose, meet my kids with Darwin. This is Charles, and this is Chicago," Fiona said softly.

Rose smiled warmly.

She had experience with kids from her time at the psychology clinic and had special training on how to interact with them.

"Hey there! I'm Rose!" she greeted.

"Hi, Rose," Chicago replied confidently.

Charles gave a simple nod in greeting.

"Is Burl back yet?" Fiona asked, motioning for Rose to grab the dessert box.

"Uncle Burl and Uncle Wyatt are working in the study," Chicago said, holding Fiona's hand and swinging it happily. "Uncle Wyatt's awesome. He's working on creating digital humans and asked me a ton of questions about colors!"

"Is it fun?" Fiona asked gently.

"Yeah, it's super fun!" Chicago nodded. "Uncle Wyatt said once this tech is ready, people will be able to see their deceased loved ones online. I can't wait to grow up and make digital humans look just like real people!"

"I'll be looking forward to it!" Fiona said seriously.

Fiona walked over to Charles and took his hand too. "What about you? Got anything to share?"

Charles replied, "There are still a lot of algorithmic challenges, and the hardware is a big issue."

"Do you think it'll work?" Fiona asked.

Charles thought for a moment and said, "Yeah."

"Then it definitely will!" Fiona said confidently.

Rose followed them, feeling amazed.

It was so different from her childhood.

She had big dreams as a kid, even wanted to be an astronaut.

But Odette always said, "Stop daydreaming."

Rose made a beautiful craft in art class.

Odette said, "You're so clumsy. What is that? It's hideous."

Later, when Odette got sick, Rose cooked for her, but Odette got mad and said, "We're living off others like beggars, asking for money, and you're wasting food? What did you make? It's worse than restaurant garbage!"

Rose thought all parents were like that.

But Fiona was different.

Fiona's kids were so young, but she always believed and supported them no matter what they said.

Was it because her kids were geniuses?

No, that wasn't it.

Aiden was a genius too, right?

Brooke was just as strong-willed as Fiona, wasn't she?

Why was Brooke like that with Aiden?

Yet Fiona was like this with her kids?

Rose's gaze fell on Chicago, who looked like a little elf.

Chicago seemed carefree, like she wouldn't be scared of getting scolded even if she messed up.

"Who are you?" a cold child's voice came from behind.

Rose turned around.

She met a pair of indifferent eyes.

Earlier, Christopher had given Charlotte a haircut, which ended in disaster. Charlotte fixed it herself, and by a stroke of luck, it became a very trendy hairstyle.

But when she wasn't smiling, the hairstyle made her look sickly sweet.
