Chapter 966

After finishing, Nora fell asleep again.
Kenny got a work call midway and went out.
Thalassa sat on the bed, feeling a bit helpless. "Before I had the baby, I always saw pregnant women online complaining that their husbands poured all their emotions into the baby after the birth and didn't care about their feelings. But in my case, it's the opposite. What if Kenny never likes the baby?"
Thalassa looked helplessly at Fiona. She had tried to persuade him, but Kenny was just so stubborn!
"Give it more time," Fiona comforted Thalassa. "He needs time to realize he's already Nora's dad. There will be a change."
Thalassa sighed and nodded.
"Alright, let's gossip! How did you win over Wyatt?" Thalassa quickly changed the topic.
Fiona thought for a moment. Then she shook her head. "Strictly speaking, it wasn't me who won him over."
"Then who?" Thalassa was shocked.
Fiona looked at Thalassa. "Stella."
That day, when they left the private room of the Spanish restaurant, Wyatt showed no mercy towards Oliver.
Wyatt was determined to make Oliver choose between bankruptcy and losing his lover.
But when he ran into Emily and Isabella in the lobby, the look in his eyes when he saw that woman seemed as if his soul was shattered in an instant.
Fiona had never seen Stella in her teenage years. She also didn't think Emily and Stella looked much alike. But she guessed that at that moment, Wyatt must have seen something in Emily that made him believe she resembled Stella, even if just for a moment.
That was enough to shake Wyatt's resolve.
He couldn't bring himself to force someone who resembled Stella to lose her husband and family.
When they got back to the car, Fiona didn't say much more because she knew that this time, Oliver had saved himself with his obsession with Stella.
Fiona said, "It's funny. Oliver's misfortune was treating Stella as his unattainable love and finding a substitute, but it was also because of this that he survived Wyatt's wrath."
Thalassa felt uncomfortable hearing this. "Wyatt is bad, but Oliver is worse!"
"The most unfortunate one is Stella. She did nothing, but her sister, her lover, and the man who loved her but couldn't have her tormented her for sixteen years." Fiona shook her head and then said, "Fortunately, God favored her and sent Alexander."
"Alexander is just too principled. If he had acted ten years ago, Stella would have been happy long ago!" Thalassa said.
"Think about it again." Fiona propped her chin with her hand, tilting her head sweetly.
Thalassa pondered for a moment and then slapped her forehead. "I almost forgot, back then, Stella only had eyes for Wyatt. If Alexander had acted, he probably would have ended up like Oliver!"
"Exactly, some things can't be rushed." Fiona leaned back on the sofa and said, "Time will give the right answer."
Hearing this, Thalassa looked at her sweetly sleeping daughter again. Kenny was also the right answer that time had given her.
At the Walker family's house, Stella sat across from Alexander, showing him videos and photos of Milo. "Isn't he cute?"
"Very cute. Do you want it?" Alexander asked.
"Actually, he's already here." Stella licked her dry lips and said, "Milo was supposed to be my little kitty, but by some twist of fate, he was raised by someone else for about half a month or so..."
"Wyatt?" Alexander directly said.
Stella's eyes widened in shock. "Did Fiona tell you?"
"I guessed." Alexander looked at her and said, "If Milo had been cared for by anyone else, you wouldn't have been so concerned about my feelings and taken so long to prepare me for it."
