Aiden held onto Marisole like she was the only thing keeping him afloat, gripping her so tight it was like he wanted to become one with her.
Aldrich's notes said Marisole kept asking "why" and couldn't stop crying.
Aldrich also gave her a counseling session.
The reunion was so emotional that even though Brooke was still icy towards Marisole, she didn't stop them from meeting.
To make sure Aiden got the right treatment, Marisole promised to visit him every day if he cooperated.

Fiona looked at the old treatment plans. The yellowed paper still carried the pain from over thirty years ago.
But Aiden pushed through, just to see Marisole daily.
Six months later, in spring, Aiden's condition improved, and he was discharged on April 8th.
A year later, Marisole was dead.
Aiden's condition worsened, and he attacked Brooke, leading to his return to Aldrich.
In his first session back, Aldrich noted Aiden was more agitated than before.

"I won't marry anyone else. I only want Marisole. I can't live without her!"
"Marisole is dead. She's dead! My mom must have killed her! I want to avenge my wife! I was so close to avenging Marisole!"
"Aldrich, I'm in so much pain. Don't treat me, just let me die!"
"What kind of professor are you! What kind of doctor? Have you forgotten your medical ethics just because you accepted money from my mom?"
"Continue the treatment. I'll cooperate."
"Once I'm cured, I can leave, right?"
"Once I'm out, I can avenge Marisole."
From these words, Fiona could sense Aiden's hysteria and desperate breakdown.
After that, Brooke traveled a lot, managing Solomon Group and worrying about the Aiden she had driven mad.
Brooke visited almost every week, more often than Burl's flight records showed.
Three years passed like this.
