Chapter 1031
"Good morning, Mrs. Solomon!" Brady came running from the side.
Although he was the third-generation heir of a wealthy family, his dressing style had always been simple.
Clothes costing thirty to fifty dollars were common.
He wore T-shirts that had been washed out of shape and jeans that had faded from cleaning all day long. The key point was simplicity and cleanliness.
However, today, his clothes were obviously brand new and luxurious. Even his hair was meticulously combed.
Fiona patted his head. "Good morning, Brady. Wait for me a moment."
She turned back and brought out the gift for Brady. "Happy Birthday!"
Brady's eyes squinted with joy.
He took the gift with both hands and bowed politely. "Thank you, Mrs. Solomon!"
"You're welcome; go play!" Fiona said, looking at the smiling Chicago. "It's Brady's birthday today, Chicago. You're in charge of making sure Brady has fun, OK?"
"No problem at all!" Chicago patted her chest in assurance.
Then she tugged at Brady's clothes. "Let's go out; let my dad sleep a bit longer."
Brady clumsily hugged the gift and waved at Fiona.
Only then did he barely keep up with Chicago's pace.
Fiona vaguely heard Brady muttering, "Chicago, slow down!"
She shook her head with a smile.
Chicago was getting more impatient as she grew older!
Fiona glanced back in the direction of the bedroom.
It was rare for Darwin to sleep in, and she thought to let him sleep a bit longer.
After a simple wash-up, she walked straight outside.
Christopher was talking to Xavier, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Fiona coming out. He immediately ended the conversation and walked towards her.
"How is it?" Fiona asked.
Christopher's expression was very serious. "Burl went to check the surveillance room early in the morning and confirmed that the surveillance loss was not due to a technical fault but was manually turned off, so there was no surveillance of the crime scene that night."
Fiona was not surprised at all.
"Additionally, the police checked all the surveillance near the two security guards' residences last night. Most of the houses in that area are self-built by residents, and surveillance cameras are installed by each household. Some of the cameras on certain roads have been broken for a long time and haven't been repaired, so the effective data obtained is very limited. But it is now basically clear that in the early hours of the day of the incident, shortly after Arnold's death, a woman about 5 feet tall went in the direction of the two deceased security guards' rented houses. At around one o'clock the next morning, the same surveillance camera captured a woman of the same height and build coming from that direction again," as Christopher spoke, he handed the surveillance footage captured by the two cameras to Fiona.
In the footage, whether coming or going, Abigail was wrapped up tightly.
No facial features could be captured at all.
"She is very familiar with the nearby surveillance cameras, and currently, only this newly installed camera captured her figure." Christopher paused. "Abigail is about 5 feet tall."
"Did you get the sports car?" Fiona glanced at Christopher.
Christopher still held onto the last bit of stubbornness. "We can't confirm anything until we catch her!"
Fiona smiled.
"Just protect others. After Brady's birthday, we'll return to the Bay City. With things getting so serious, no matter how well she hides, she won't escape the police's pursuit." she handed the phone back to Christopher.
Christopher took it. "Are you going to the maternity care center?"
Fiona hadn't answered yet; Stella came running over immediately.
